The hotel was a value Disney hotel, so of course there really wasn't alot of luxury but the room was very clean. However the ... beds were hard and somewhat uncomfortable, the sheets and bedding kinda cheap and rough. It was a long walk from the parking lot to the room, which after walking around magic kingdom all day didn't make us too happy. The food served in the cafeteria style Melody Hall was surprisingly good but expensive of course. I would stay again simply because the price was right and it is on the Disney property which is nice to avoid the horrors of International Drive.

Great Value, Great Hotel
M & J Oct 19, 2009
We had a nice stay at this great hotel. As a Disney hotel, you have all the amenities of Disney at your fingertips, good ... food, fun pool and wonderful transportation system. For a couple at Disney for the weekend, this was a comfortable place to come back to at the end of a long day at the parks. These are not luxury rooms and are on the small side, but they are spotless and very well maintained. The staff is wonderful, and the phone never rings more than twice before some answers ( usually are REAL person).

If you are a couple like us, try to eat later, after the families with kids head for bed. Although the Fireworks are unbelievable, if you leave early, you avoid a long wait for the bus back to your hotel. One family had to wait over an hour for a bus due to the croud, not something you want to do with two or three tired kids.

Excellent price, great location
Traveling KJ Oct 11, 2009
All Star Music is a great place to find kid friendly experiences and decently priced rooms for those looking to travel to ... Disney World on a budget. The rooms may be a bit small, but honestly, how often are you in your hotel room when traveling to Disney? The theme-ing ranges from Calypso to Country to Broadway to Rock music. The main building, Melody Hall, is where you will find the check-in desk, food court and Maestro Mickey's gift shop. The staff is more than helpful. The Mousekeeping (housekeeping) is wonderful. Clean rooms with some extras. I would come back from my day out and find hand towels twisted and molded into a bird, a butterfly, an elephant or even a Minnie Mouse! My friends, who were staying down the road at Coronado Springs, were jealous. I love the All Star Resorts. There is truly something for everyone.

Our 2-day getaway
Mary Sep 23, 2009
Checked in on 09-21-09 around 11AM. Room was not yet ready but they took my cell number so I could be sent a text message ... when the room was ready. Received the text about 1:45pm as we enjoyed a buffet lunch at Ft. Wilderness Campgrounds' Trails End restaurant. Got back to the room. Maintainence was in the room finishing up with small duties like changing lightbulbs which was OK with us! They simply finished up and left. We were in a handicapped room which we also liked because of the shower. The whole room is a shower with a curtain in it to separate the shower from the toilet. Room had towels arranged in mickey mouse shape when we arrived. We Put do not disturb sign on room both nights of our stay and we were NOT disturbed at all! Housekeeping did a great job on the room. SO much to do there for kids, daily activities and nightly movies. GREAT recreation staff! Though the food court always seemed busy, lines moved rather quickly and efficiently. Have stayed here twice now and would definitely stay here again.

We never felt the need to be the first ones in the park. By heading out to the hotels after 10 AM, there was not such a long wait for busses. We also used the water taxi's when available rather than the busses. If you are not in a rush to get someplace, it was a relaxing commute.

The popular attractions at the parks will get LONG stand-by lines quickly so....if there are still fast passes available for a desired ride, get those as soon as you enter the park, even if you still have to wait to enter. The number of fast passes distibuted for certain attractions are limited too so...get them while you can!!
