Great Retreat
Randell Nov 24, 2008
Discovery was a great getaway. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was amazing - especially the bathroom. I would ... splurge next time for a room upgrade - although we were never in our room. The food was very very good. There was a nice choice of everyday food and high dining. The spa was great - I had two spa treatments and both were fantastic. A short walk to the marina and there are small shops and a grocery store. The hotel is far from the airport but well worth it. Other guest traveled around the island and did some sightseeing but I was content staying put. The resort was high design and eco-friendly. I will visit again for sure!

Food is much cheaper at the Hurricane Hole and pool side but it is worth it to have at least one meal at the Bourdreau restaurant. Breakfast is a buffet and is included in the price.

Great Stay

Hotel grounds were well kept - pools was really nice. Rooms were very modern/contemporary in style. Location of the hotel ... is beautiful and there are many things not too far away. The Marina village is walking distance and has a small grocery store and places to shop and eat which is a nice stroll and convenient. There is a complimentary water taxi that will take you to other restaurants around. The hotel also had great restaurants. If you love boats this is the place to stay. There are many impressive boats to look at.
Traveler type: Couples
There is a small grocery store walking distance from the hotel so if you are trying to save money by not going out for dinner every night, this store will help. There is also a bakery around the corner with great sandwiches and desserts at reasonable prices.
