First time to Sedona,Az. The place itself is awesome. The hotel was okay, but you can hear everything, people walking ... upstairs, flushing of toilets very loud, can be heard next to you, above you,all around you. Walls very thin. Hair dryer didn't work in room--glad we took one just in case. Pool very small, needs good paint job, was dirty--but then it had rained so don't know if it's usually clean. They need to change their phrase--of "fruit brought to your room every morning" because YOU have to walk to office and get your donuts or apples that they have on hand in the morning. Location was alright, at end of Village Creek so not too much traffic. Staff was friendly enough.

We stayed at the Kings Ransom the night following our stay at Desert Quail and there was no comparison. The $25.00 extra ... gave us one king size bed, a couch, outdoor patio and table to enjoy the evening and morning ambience. There was a hiking trail at the kings ransom where Susan watched the sun rise and hummingbids buzz among the scarlet gilia. The restaurant Elote at kings ransom was extrordinary in it's conception and deployment; there was no equal at desert quail.

Clean and comfortable with adequate pool and friendly staff. It is within walking distance to good restaurants. Drive into ... town. Previous trip we stayed at a 4 star resort right in town with a fabuluous view and paid the price. If you are gone all day to play golf, take a jeep tour, hike and swim at Slide Rock State Park, all you need is a good bed at night. The views from the highway are free but if you want to park and stay awhile, you need a parking permit.

This hotel is a little outside Sedona town center, which probably made it a little quieter, but meant a few minute drive ... there when you went into town to eat. Overall, the price was great, and all I would change was the pillows! Internet only available in the office.

Our stay was fine we only stayed for one night. However when we checked out the next day I left my watch in the room. My ... husband & I were at breakfast when I realized I did not have it with me. After breakfast we returned to the hotel I told the desk manager about my watch and she gave me the key. The door was open, we know that we closed it when we left, I know where I left the watch but it was no longer there. I reporte this to the desk clerk. I did tell her that we could not be 100% sure that we left it there. But when we got home and unpacked the watch was not in our luggage. I lost the number to the hotel and have not had a chance to look it up and call them. So I am glad that you sent this surrvey. The watch was fairly new and gift from my mother that has since past away.
