Will never stay here again!

The timeshare is located on S. Decatur which is a major street and near the airport. It was literally like trying to sleep ... next to a freeway and constant airplanes taking off! Our room was two buildings away from the street but the windows faced S. Decatur. The noise level was insane! The only time we didn't hear the traffic & airport noise was when we had the A/C blasting. They even try to drown out the noise level at the pool by blasting music. We were physically in our room for less than an hour and called the front desk to request a room change. The man at the front desk said they had three other rooms available but because we were in our room for an hour we would be charged a major cleaning fee. We hadn't even sat on the beds! As we were considering it just to get away from the noise, the front desk person changed his story and said the only room they had available was closer to the street. He clearly didn't want to switch our room! The staff doesn't care about your comfort, they're just interested in selling their timeshares. The rooms in the interior buildings may be more quiet but we weren't lucky enough to get one of those. Don't make the same mistake we did, it's not worth your hard earned money. You'll regret staying here!

Skip the seafood buffet at Rio and drive to Shuck's - about 6 miles away. Great seafood, fabulous service for a fraction of the price. Open 24 hrs!

I loved the place. It was very clean. It had everything you needed in the kitchen, the air conditioning was great, which is ... a must when the weather reaches over 100 degrees in vegas. Also check out was at 11 am but my flight was untill 6 pm. the staff were very helpfull and let me store my bags untill it came closer for me to go to the airport.

Great family retreat

Located near the strip but the clean and quiet property made us feel removed from the hustle and bustle. Great pools and ... water park were a hit with the children. Nice rooms with full kitchen and top-flight BBQ's in pool area made cooking a breeze. Workout room had more equipment than many properties of the same size. We'll definitely stay at the property again. Did get the timeshare breakfast pitch at sign-in, but was not too heavy-handed and was able to politely decline without much effort.

Mixed Feelings
Jillita May 18, 2009
Four of us took a girls only trip and stayed in a 2 bedrm, 2 bath unit on the ground floor. The first night, we saw a large ... cockroach on the wall which escaped behind a mirror. The next two nights, we killed 2 baby cockroaches, and the last night, we failed to end the life of yet another even larger cockroach. We weren't overrun with them, but it wasn't pleasant. Also, our concierge was extremely helpful and pleasant, right up until the minute that we declined to visit their sister timeshare - then the pleasant demeanor ceased immediately. We booked a dinner/music show through them, but when we got to the show, our names were not on the list. We weren't given the required vouchers (the rest of the bus passengers from our resort had them), We waited a very long time while the casino hotel staff tried to figure it out, placing numerous phone calls to our concierge, whom they never got a hold of. They finally just let us in and said they'd figure it out later. Our concierge had previously offered to comp two of the dinner tickets if we went to their "open house" timeshare presentation. But when we expressed our discontent at the inconvenience we experienced due to their mix up, no one would take any responsibility, nor offer to comp even one ticket for our inconvenience. The concierge blamed the front desk, the front desk blamed the concierge, neither of whom would talk to each other...and they were literally ten feet away from each other! Our rooms were large, clean and we took advantage of having a kitchen, which was great since there weren't any restaurants within walking distance. Actually, our concierge had recommended one on the first day, called O-Aces, for breakfast, which we promptly headed to. Upon stepping into the entrance, we took one breath and turned right back around as it reeked of cigarette smoke! We drove down the street away from the strip and happened upon a very clean, family owned restaurant called Mr. Mama's, which was cheap and really, really good! We ended up eating there 3 times during our 4 day stay. With the exception of the cockroaches, our unit was very nice, although sparsely decorated. Very nice pools and fitness center, great location from the strip, and quiet (except for the very large, heavy footed Sasquatch who slept walked every night at 2:00 AM!!
