We went shopping right next door. Also not too far away is Old Town Shops which are nice too. Restaurants are all within a ... nice range and a couple right within walking distance. The hotel has been updated and is absolutely wonderful.

I went to Sedona for a day, shopped, saw some sights and visited w/ friends. I met several of your other guests while resting ... at the pool and we had an enjoyable time. Other trips, I have found myself stranded and away from restaurants and sights. This one is perfect.

Days Inn, Scottsdale is a decent hotel if you just need a place to crash at night while out and about in Phoenix/Scottsdale. ... If you're looking for a tricked-out resort with all the amenities, then this isn't what you're looking for. Rooms are older, but clean. The beds are on the small side - it seemed a lot smaller than the full size bed I have at home. The staff was friendly enough. Everything worked and there was plenty of hot water. It covered what I needed in the location that I wanted at a price I could afford. No more, no less.

we chose the day's inn because of it's location. we were sorry we didn't spend 20-30 dollars more per night to stay at a ... nicer hotel. the location was excellent. there was a street cleaning machine that ran all day long and was noisy. very small bathroom, just an old facility. the staff was very nice, and their brunch was good, with boiled eggs etc.

I went to Scottsdale on business to look at real estate. The Days Inn at Fashion Square provided a convenient and ... inexpensive place to stay while looking at homes. I especially appreciated the breakfast which was provided each morning at no cost. I would definitely stay at this inn again next time I come to Scottsdale on business for a couple of days.

Get a hotel room with a refrigerator. Go to a supermarket and buy food to last you during your stay. This can reduce the costs of dining out for X amount of days. If you are traveling for just pleasure, then you may only pick up food for snacks.

This hotel is in a great location, right next to Fashion Square Mall. The room was clean and good-sized, but is in need of ... updating decor and fixtures. However, I'm sure if the property is remodeled the price won't be nearly as attractive. This was a great value for a Scottsdale location. There are many dining options nearby, especially right in the mall.
