Bad taste in my mouth!
The Hill Family Oct 19, 2009
There was something all over the back of our door in the bathroom. YUCKY stuff that we didn't like looking at when we closed ... the door. I guess you get what you pay for the waffles stuck to the waffle iron because they had no spray. My children couldn't eat them. But the service was nice everyone tried to help out with the sticky mess. We would say thank you to the help but he didn't have a name tag yet.

Just a clean bed
Chris Jul 26, 2009
Much is unkept about this hotel including its 90 degree hallways, but the room was mostly clean and quiet. It's a 15 minute ... quick shot to the airport, and that is all we were looking for one night. Wouldn't want to spend much more time than that in this hotel or this location which is somewhat depressing.

Nice stay for the money.
True Blue Jul 22, 2009
We stayed here on our way between Vegas and Yellowstone both ways. The rooms were clean and the pool was nice. My kids loved ... making their own waffles. The staff was friendly and helpful. The second time we stayed, we were on the bottom floor. The room seemed to be bigger. This hotel is only a mile or two from many restaurants.(Many fast food as well as sit-down dining.)

Nice room--dirty public areas
Yellowstone traveler Jun 25, 2009
We just stayed here on our way to and from the airport. The room was great. Looked like it had been redone recently and was ... just spotless. It seemed such a contrast to the public areas. Courtesy breakfast was missing a lot of the items by the time we came down (8 am). There was waffle batter all over the place. We saw a cheerful housekeeper, but she didn't do much about the mess. There was dirt all over the stairs that should have been vacuumed. Location was not the best, but overall, because the room was so nice, we enjoyed it.

convenient and easy access
Pam the Quilter May 13, 2009
Rooms were clean, well kept up. The hallways were also reasonably good. Biggest issues were shortage of towels, other ... guests that were noisy in the early am hours (3am), why did they even get a room? The breakfast was not nutrition wise, as they only offered starches and carbs. No yogurt, little fruit juice, and only one shriveled apple that remained there for our entire 3 day stay. The pool was closed but we could understand that with the outbreak of swine flu. Maid was a little lax, but not horrible.

Expected much more.
Eagle ! May 11, 2009
I had expected a room that , as not all rooms have views, but the room in which I stayed didn't stand a chance of having one ... as there was a 10-12 foot tall wall for a self storage establishment next door. It also appeared to me that there were guests there that had been there longer than say 3-4 weeks. Ran into a dog exiting one time. Pitbull on a leash rounding the corner at the same time as I. Rooms were very dated. Carpet worn out. Fridge in very worn condition. AC didn't work very well. Glad that I spent the majority of the time out exploring. I had flown out from Asheville, NC the morning of the 8th for an Eagles concert on the 9th and returned to Asheville the 10th. Left the hotel at 4:30 am to catch flight. Had I been fortunate enough to have been joined by a female companion while there, I would have most certainly have made other arrangements for the 2 of us. Would not have brought a female companion back to the room there. It wouldn't have taken much for the window to have been broken and all of my belongings stolen and no one would would have known about it until I had returned to the room and found the items missing.

The Days Inn Salt Lake City South was a basic hotel with a reception area different from the general entrance. We arrived on ... a snowy evening, so there was some problem with snow being tracked into the general entrance that wasn't cleaned up quickly, but it was minor. Everything else was ok.

The furnishings, cleanliness and maintenance were typical for this price point. We had to request a clean blanket to replace ... the soiled one on the bed, otherwise the stay was fine.
