One of the reasons I booked the Days Inn was their airport pickup service. When I arrived at Sacramento International (7pm), ... I called the hotel for pickup. No answer, so I called again 10 minutes later. Still no answer. Super Shuttle to the rescue for $14.00. When I got to the hotel, the desk clerk said I had to make advance reservations for the courtesy pickup. Once in the room, I thought it would be a quite evening. Not likely with a young mother screaming at her 2Plus kids and the TV volume up loud until after 1am. I could accept this if the hotel was full, but it wasn't. All in all, I won't be using the Days Inn for my future Sacramento visits.

Would recommend to a friend!

We only stayed one night....The AC was so loud that it woke me up every time it switched on. The staff I delt with were all ... friendly and the room was a decent size. The bathroom was small. I could hear a baby crying down the hall, and I also could here the security kicking someone out of their room and calling the police so the walls must be pretty thin.

The hotel was extremely clean!! The bed was amazingly comfortable. The desk clerk was very friendly! Very peaceful and relaxing! ...

The location of the hotel was very nice as we went to old town sac...and the zoo. It was also very convient they had a little ... menu to order food from chilis and chevys and had it delivered to your door! and also a directory to find grocery stores walmart and etc. also i thought was a nice addition was that you had to have a key to get in the facility and access rooms i thought that was a safer way to sleep! also they had a refrigerator and a microwave!!!!

The internet said pets okay, no mention of $10 pet charge. (lobby signed stated no pets I noticed) The first room ... (non-smoking) smelled like cologne, so bad I could taste it. Instead of giving us another non-smoking room per reservation he showed a smoking room that was wretched smelling and finally another smoking room that didn't seem that bad until morning when my sinuses were affected and made my clothes stink like cigarettes I noticed. (I don't smoke). Nice that they give you shampoo, fridge and microwave in the room and allowed a pet and had a decent breakfast area. The cameras were kinda creepy though. Nothing more special than a Motel 6.

I've stayed at this property several times while attending the Sacramento Jazz Jubilee. From the hotel, it is a pleasant 15 ... minute riverside walk to Old Sacramento. The hotel is spotless, inexpensive, nicely appointed for a budget hotel, and offers a decent complimentary breakfast. All in all, a super value. The only negative is that the staff can be cold and even a bit surly at times. In the middle of our stay, a staff member pounded on our door at 11:30AM, telling us we needed to leave our room immediately. We had a multi-day reservation and the error was theirs. I also witnessed unwarranted surly behavior toward another guest at breakfast.

This hotel is definitely ideal for the price and location. The rooms are comfortable, all basic ammenities are available and ... the staff is courteous and friendly. Would definitley stay there again the next time I visit the Sacramento area.

This hotel appeared to be recently renovated. The rooms were really clean; the bathroom nicely appointed with Granite walls ... that utterly silenced the bathroom to the room at large. The location was good--close to downtown but on the main route to the airport.

Would recommend to a friend!

Hey, I was tired, the room was clean, warm and comfortable. For the price, what else could I ask for? The only problem was ... that, when I checked into my room, there was no remote for the TV. It took about ten minutes and two visits from the staff to produce a working remote. It may sound petty, but those ten minutes were valuable when all I wanted to do was fall into bed and be numbed by the tube. Otherwise, however, not bad at all...

Would recommend to a friend!

The only thing I didn't like was the extrem long way to Old Downtown. And in addition the area you have to walk thru looks ... quite rough. When it was dark I decided to take a cab back to my hotel. With just $ 9,- that was ok. Next time I would look for a closer to down town one.

It is small, but nice. I had a non-smoking room and although the room did not smell of smoke the non-smoking hallway did. It ... wasn't much of a bother, but I thought it very strange. The night staff was very friendly and the rooms were comfortable. For such a small motel the room was comfortable and larger than I thought it would be. It was a short street ride to the Capital.
