We were mainly interested in being close to Casino Niagara and the hotel was right across the street from it. It was also a ... 10-minute walk to the falls. We felt it was a good value compared to the rates for other hotels close by. The only negative was the daily fee for parking.

Applebees in the hotel did not give great service and VERY expensive.
--Canadian Ballet fan, NY Aug 31, 2009
Dining in Niagara Falls is double the price anywhere else. Where you would pay under $10 in Michigan for a hamburger at Applebee's, you are paying $20 a person.
--Dee, Warren, MI Aug 27, 2009
Suggest all day passes on the People Mover bus and take all day back and forth to rest of the attractions on Niagara Parkway. Also suggest using the Casino across the street for currency exchage, they give you top dollar.

Although in a very good location and clean, the queen matresses sagged in the middle. Two people could not sleep on one bed ... or they would be rolling into each other. Also, the furniture was very worn. Bathrooms very small.

Decent Place to Stay
Rita Book Aug 24, 2009
Good location at the top of Clifton Hill, had tower room and could see the falls and fireworks from the room. Close to most ... of the attractions. Less than 10 minute walk down Clifton Hill to Maid of Mist/People Mover bus. The walk to the Horseshoe Falls was a bit longer-but less than a mile. (However, there is the walk back up the hill!) The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Room could have been cleaner - some stains on the carpet. Have no complaints for what we paid for the room.

Great location, good value
Annie Aug 16, 2009
Great location for the price. It's a short walk to many tourist attractions including views of Niagara Falls. Definitely a ... family fun vacation spot. We did have to pay a daily rate for parking at the hotel. There aren't any elevators in the adjacent hotel buildings. Therefore, you have to walk up a flight of stairs with your luggage. There are several restaurants within close proximity to the hotel including Starbucks.

There is an Applebee's Restaurant at the front of the hotel. They offer discounts for kids meals.

The ... price was pretty good, but the rooms were very very small and not super clean. if you plan on being out of the room the whole time then its pretty good. the staff was nice. i would stay there again.

location was great, within walkin distance to casino and falls area. But the place turned out to be a "dingy motel" type ... establishment behind the building that is in the picture. Plus parking is an extra $10 per day. Better off taking a more expensive hotel at least it includes free parking and breakfast elsewhere.

Location was good but .......
Pete Jul 7, 2009
The staff was great but the rooms were old and dated. They advertise none smoking rooms but that is not true. One room they ... placed us in smelled like smoke. They said that the room was just changed over to a none smoking room. But they were very quick to change our room for us. The drain in the shower was backing up and when I told them of the problem they were quickly sent a repair man to fix it. But the next day it backed up again. I give the hotel a 4 out of 10. Again the staff was great but the property needed updating and to be maintained.
