Excellent value at any price!!!

This was the best hotel experience I've had in a long time. The staff was friendly, efficient and eager to please without ... being ingratiating. This hotel is close to so much- the old city, Chinatown, Latin Quarter- and the prices were exceptionally affordable. Let me just say FREE INTERNET. Room service was not just affordable but faster than you would think possible (hot breakfast w/coffee in 12 minutes). The hotel is not brand new. The hallways are a bit dingy, but who cares? For everything else they offer, I would recommend this place to anyone, for business or tourism.

Take a walk around the grounds of the Palais de Justice. The buildings are incredible and the view of the city beautiful.

Great location!

This hotel is a great location, within walking distance to old montreal, st catherine st, and great shopping. The staff was ... really helpful with anything we needed. Parking was a bit shady-all the inside parking spots were taken so I had to park outside-in the morning there were cars that had windows smashed out, thankfully not mine, but still I would have definitly paid extra for indoor parking and it kidn of sucked to not have that option.

Satisfactory place in Downtown Montreal
Birdvet 2006 Jul 5, 2009
Parking was in a scary (not safe-feeling) lot that cost you $12/day. They had me check in again after the first night, even ... though reservations had been made for 2 nights (though one through Orbitz and one without Orbitz). The room was dark, and unlevel (the mirror on the wall dipped unevenly to the right and the TV cabinet dipped unevenly to the left). It was spacious and comfortable enough, however. Relatively clean. We stayed for 2 nights.

ticketed-guy Jun 28, 2009
I asked twice when checking in where the correct parking lot was. The next day after checking out I recieved a $42 parking ... ticket and was told to take it up with the Hotel staff. The staff said don't worry just sigh it and plead not guilty we will take care of it. We will see?

This hotel is the best Days Inn you'll ever stay in, anywhere. Seriously it's won awards apparently (on display). Front desk ... staff was helpful/friendly. Bartender is a funny dude. Location of hotel is great and near metro if you even need it. And price is good (for us Americans at the time of stay). Quiet at night and esp. for sleeping in after late night out. Bad things: the "Business center" has ridiculously slow internet access and room fridge was not working.
