we were in town for the begining of fantasy fest so the hotel was a good choice for us. we werent there long and the price ... worked. our biggest complaint is items that we left in the room at check out, we returned not even a half hour later after realizing we left things behind and the room was bein cleaned out, howver the items were gone and noone seemed to "know" what happened to them.

Getting around Key West is tricky as the streets are very narrow and there is hardly any parking. If you go early enough you can park by the post office for free and walk all around the streets to sightsee and shop, otherwise you have to find a parking meter or take the trolly.

Great vacation, nice hotel stay
Native Floridian Oct 8, 2009
The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They took time to look up some of the tours we wanted to go on to see if we ... could get discounts. They told us as locals where they like to eat for resonable prices and gave us lots of tips about getting around Key West. Even though the room was average, it was not far from the attrations and the staff made it better and the price was good.

It was OK
Tom Aug 12, 2009
I have stayed several times in Key West and this was about as good as you can expect. I was disapointed with the lack of ... towels. There were only two to last 2 people 3 days and there was no bathmat included. There was also no water pressure but thats a simple fact of life in Key West. The staff were coutious and helpful and the room costs were very resonable. The rooms were very comfortable and very clean. Except for the towels it was a very enjoyable few days.

As the first Hotel you come to on Key West, it just can't be further from Duval St, but that is reflected in the price. It ... will cost you $15 for a cab downtown and the same to get back. Way too long a walk. Some of the other hotels in the area do have shuttle bus services but they cost way more than $30 extra a night plus you can always sneak in there after a short walk along the waterfront :) Otherwise a standard Days Inn with an en suite Waffle House and a good pool.

Key West is very expensive, but the Days Inn gives travelers a nice choice. Close to the Key West Airport, it's clean, easy ... to get to and provides excellent value for the price. Also away from the noise if you like a good night's sleep.

If you are going downtown to the Duval Street area or the Harbor area, be sure to rent a car as it is too far to walk and the cab fare is about $15 each way.
