There was a grocery store right behind our hotel so it was easy to stock up on snacks for the fridge. There were also several fast food places nearby.

Family Reunion Stay
Tony B Aug 4, 2009
Went for my family reunion. The meeting rooms were kind of small and the breakfast offer left much to be desired. The pool ... was nice, it goes from 3 - 8 feet. Overall it was a decent hotel for the money.

Good value for the money
WyomingSean Jul 27, 2009
I booked this hotel for one reason: it was the cheapest option that was relatively near BWI. The staff was friendly, though ... the first room I was shown smelled of smoke. The pool here is better than most pools at comparable properities. The fitness center is lacking, with just three pieces of cardio equipment.Another plus is that the facility is within walking distance of a few restaurants.

Old school with new supplies
J Former Native Jul 20, 2009
Great place if you just wanted to take a shower, watch tv, and sleep. The room seemed small but clean. The rooms had been ... recently redecorated, but the outside of the hotel was still dated. The cleaning staff forgot to restock our towels one day. Overall, it served our needs on that trip.

Days inn- glenn bernie, MD
Mrs Ohio Plus America 09 May 8, 2009
I loved the room. The hotel rooms have outdoor access. With the openness of the rooms, we (my husband and I) were able to ... overlook the outdoor pool area and luscious landscape. The only thing that I didn't like was lack of room service (food wise) and locations of vending machines. An added bonus was a safe located in the closet. It put my mind at ease knowing valuables could be put up while I was away from my room.

The reception staff was not very friendly but acceptable. Sheets on my bed were not impressive, looked as if somebody had ... been sleeping on them the previous night. I have seen better places, for sure. But I spent a night there and as it seems did not contract any disease (joke).

The Receptionist is so friendly and helpful... I can't beleive how she's good and trying to make the guest happy as much as ... she can. The room also is clean and I am suprise how fast but yet tidy the cleaners are. It was really a great morning too to have a wonderful healthy breakfast. I have no doubts I I need a business to do here in Glen Burnie still this hotel I would go for! Nice site just a walking distance in every convinient store add to that, you wont feel bored with the nearest bowlinga alley.

employees helpful
John Mar 2, 2008
The Days Inn at Glenn Bernie, MD was interesting to say the least. i will say the employees at the desk and aorund were very ... pleasant and nice and helpful. They were eager to give me directions when I asked on how to get to my destination. I did not have my personal bathroom supplies which they had when i requested if they had them. They responded qickly with the supplies with a smile. The room was much to be desired. The room would be that of a slightly run down hotel. Everything was clean, but, older. The room did not have the heat on when i went in. I did get the heater going and within a couple of hours, room temperature was achieved. i did remain warm while in the room during my stay. The faucet in the bathtub/shower did have a leak, but, was no bother to me. i did sleep well on the bed as it was to my way of sleeping. the contential breakfast was average. They did have the usual pastries, juices, etc. For a Days Inn, i was expecting better, but, this had seen better years. I would say, they are working on this as a project, and it fit the purpose for me this weekend.

The U.S. Naval Academy is aobut 15 miles southeast of the hotel. I did not make it there, but, i did meet a couple of cadets while out and they were interesting to talk to and listen to their first year experiences.

Typical Old Motel
Michael Feb 1, 2008
The Days Inn in Glen Burnie, MD was similar to all old motels that are bought by some foreign groups. Non skilled labor ... attempted to make repairs, but failed like in bathrooms and dressing area. The carpet had cigarette burns and was nasty. It was not a clean comfortalbe experience. Having arived at 2:00 AM and I had to check out by 8:30 AM, I may have a biased opinion. The motel did not come close to my minimum standards.

homeless shelter
ken Nov 18, 2007
the days inn in glen burnie was a motel that needs to be knocked down and rebuilt the rooms were small and cheap furnite ... crammed in you could not close the curtain all the way and the majority of the clientele were extended stay due to weekly rate, very poor location rooms had a bad oder and just did not like it one bit;;the rooms lacked anytype of personality due to way to many coats of paint on metal doors--the clerk tried to charge be a 20.00 per day convienance fee and when that didnt work he tried to charge me a 40.00 per day pet fee even tho i did not have a pet,, he stated he heard me say i had a pet on check in,,the grounds were not well kept and the so called contintel breakfast had nothing to it and was closed an hour prior to stated times very poor stay very dis satified and would never stay there again,,sorry for beating it up but my time there was very unpleasant
