OK Hotel

This hotel is located right off I-40 Transcanadienne. I missed it and drove right past it when I got off the 4-way, but I ... made a U-turn and found it. Hotel check-in was easy, and staff was very accommodating. I felt welcomed. Room was ok. I noted some faults to the staff, like a leaky toilet, and scratch on the TV (so they would not think that I did it). The rooms do not have enough outlets, so charging your cell phone or hooking up your computer, required some maneuvering and plugging and unplugging of appliances. Other than that, I was only there to sleep, and that I did well. I felt safe. The staff seemed attentive to my needs, and I would stay there again. I had a rental car, so getting around Montreal was easy. Even though it says airport in the description, it is a good 10-15 minute ride, even though you are on the outskirts of the airport. On the other side of the highway, there is McDonalds and a mall, so breakfast was easy to get.

Free shuttle to and from the airport. However, if you are flying in to Montreal, you will need a rental car to get around. The hotel is right in between the intersection of two major highways. On the other side of the highway is shopping - like the Plaza Vertu.
