Days Inn - Sunset is located in North Charlotte at exit 16-A on I-77. We are 3 miles from I-85 and 34 miles from I-40. The Metrolina Expo is only 1 mile away. Attractions within 20 minutes include Paramount Carowinds, Ericsson Stadium, Lowes Motor Speedway, Charlotte Coliseum, Blockbuster Pavilion, Lake Norman and Lake Wylie , Latta Plantation, Discovery Place, Concord Mills and Stowe Botanical Gardens. Just 10 minutes away you will find North Park Business Complex, Research Business Park, First Union Complex, IBM, Bank of America and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. A free continental breakfast is served from 6:00AM to 10:00AM daily. Our indoor pool is open from 10:00AM to 10:00PM daily.

Great inexpensive place to stay.

I wanted a cheap room to sleep in while I attended the Nascar dirt track finals. I only paid $39.00 a night. I thought the ... room would be small and not too clean. I was wrong! It was a nice size room and very clean. Every day they cleaned it again. I will definetely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone. It is right next to route 77 too.

The location is convenient to the Interstate, but the surroundings leave much to be desired. The office is in lockdown mode, ... i.e., they have to buzz you in or you use a night window slot, in broad daylight. Signs everywhere warning you to watch your belongings. "Bait cars in use" to catch thieves. Not conducive to a restful night.

This hotel has great access to I-77 and Uptown Charlotte. It takes five minutes and you will spend a minimum of twice as much ... to stay in town. The rooms are very basic but if your not spending time in the room it's OK. There is also a good mall one exit away going north (#18). Good resturants, movie theater etc.

I wouldn't stay more than a day or two! It was just a overnight for me. But it was clean, quiet, and just off the freeway! ... Pool is small, Stair case smelled like [*], Breakfast needs work! But very good for the price!

The room was desent for the price we paid. If we paid regular price it would diffently not be worth it. The room was ... loud, you could hear everything around us. The bathrooms were dirty. also ther contineltal breakfast was lousy. the area they served it in was very small woth only 2 tables.

We had a very wonderful time during our stay. It was very easy to get to the race track and the Hotel and the employees were ... wonderful. We will book this hotel again next year if it is open.
