Good service but small rooms!

This was just a couple day get away us. We have stayed in this hotel before, but was that years ago and the hotel has run ... down hill a little since then. We felt the room they put us in was very small. The over all appearance was par at best. the rooms were clean though, and plenty of towels.

Manager was not very nice, the blankets had a big slit and holes all over it. other then that the rest of the hotel and staff ... was fine

This hotel was a restful stop; & it's easy to find because it is right off the highway. However, the room was LESS spacious ... than other rooms at other hotels I've stayed. Keep in mind that I only needed to sleep in their comfy bed, not run laps in the room.

CLOSET ROOM AND WRONG BED

ALL THAT THERE WAS ROOM TO DO INSIDE ARE ROOM WAS SLEEP!!!! THE BED WE BOOKED WAS A QUEEN. THE BED WE GOT WAS A DOUBLE!!! WE ... ONLY HAD ENOUGH ROOMIN THE ROOM TO WALK AROUND THE BED!!!! IF THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN THE QUEEN BED WE HAD BOOKED, WE WOULD NOT HAVE HAD ANY ROOM TO WALK!!! PLEASE LET OTHER PEPOLE KNOW THAT THEY ARE DOUBLE BEDS NOT QUEEN BEDS AND THAT THE ROOMS ARE VERY SMALL!!! THANK YOU DAVID HEGNA

We were put in a room that had food and debris on the floor. On the bedstand was a bobby pin and a rubber band for someone's ... braces. When I opened the bed, there was hair and other 'stuff' on the sheets. The desk moved us to another room that had been vacuumed, and the linens appeared to be clean, but there was so much air freshener in the room, I wondered what they were trying to cover up. I did not walk on the floors without shoes. The bathroom fixtures are gray with old stains. The bathroom sink did not drain. We had a similar experience at an adjacent motel last year. My suggestion....wait until Phoenix or Flagstaff...don't waste time and money in Camp Verde. It was just plain icky there.

Good value for location

The Days Inn was affordable and it was nice to have extra room in the suite. We liked having the small kitchenette and a ... couch separate from the bed area. The hotel was a better bargain than staying in more expensive ones closer to Sedona. We enjoyed our stay.
