The hotel location was just excellent!! My only complaint is our room was so damp that it made everything 'sticky'. The ... heat did not work where we could use it to get the dampness out. We did not use the air conditioner because the room stayed very cool.

Everything was as expected. Rooms needed some updating but were very clean. Worst complaint...the elevators. There were only ... two and one broke during our stay. Needless to say we took the stairs a lot. Breakfast was pretty good. Service was great. The best thing about the hotel is the location. Right on the beach - restaurants in walking distance. Kids enjoyed the pool very much. My only complaint about the pool was the fact that there was no restroom in the pool area. We had to keep going up to 2nd floor lobby or to our room on the 5th floor...with a 6 and 9 year old...the trips were frequent!!

This hotel is great! You won't find a hotel for this price thats any better. The location puts you right in the middle of ... everything. Surfside beach is more family oriented so you won't have to worry about the party crowd. Access to the beach is right at your doorstep. Almost no traffic due to this hotels location. Seriously, you won't do any better. Clean room, everything works, great staff and right next to the pier. I will be comming to this hotel again.

You are close to everything. Murrells Inlet has all the fresh seafood you could want. If you want a less pricy meal eat somewhere in Garden City Beach, Surfside beach or just a little north of Surfside Beach. There are even a few places to eat right next to the hotel. Make sure you go to dinner early, it will get crowded fast. The river City Cafe nextdoor has the best burger you will ever have.

The Days Inn at Surfside was excellent value for the price. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and the location was ... very good. The ocean view was nice, and the short walk to the beach was perfect. We asked for one queen bed so the room was a bit small, but was adequate. A suitcase stand was provided, coffeemaker, table and chairs, and a sitting desk. Usage of the wireless internet was easy and convenient in the room. Excellent restaurants were close.

1. Bubba's Fish Shack was excellent for shrimp and catfish and it is right behind the hotel. 2. Barefoot Landing is worth the drive. Shopping is excellent, the area has great character, and the tigers at the Preservation Reserve area are amazing to see and enjoy.

We arried at the motel and our room was not done so we had to wait for about 25 mins. and when they gave us our key to the ... room there was a cleaning lady in our room using the restroom with the door to the bathroom open and it was very odd, than she told us she was not done with the room but she left and never came back to complete it. The cost was a little high for the qulity of the motel and we will never go back there. We loved the beach and plan to go again next year but we would like to rent a condo and stay for a week. We would never stay there again.

Our first stay at Day's Inn Surfside was very good. I am not a fan of having the bathroom sink not in with the bath room! ... Staff was very professional and accomodated our requests which included a room change to a more scenic part of the hotel. Great service!
