Great Hotel
Traveler Nov 16, 2009
Great Hotel, let me check in at 11 a.m. after my 10 hour flight, which was awesome. Room was very clean and really nice. No ... alarm clock. Goofy electrical system required hotel key to keep the lights on. Figured it out after the third or fourth time, ha. Short walk to the Underground, Hounslow Central on the Picadilly Line. Used it for all my travels into the city. Nice area, always felt safe. It is right on the flight path for Heathrow so lots of jet noise, usually got quiet around 10 p.m.

Great for an early morning flight
Tommyboy Nov 14, 2009
We had an early flight out of London Heathrow airport and it took us about 20 minutes via tube to get there. The Hounslow ... Central tube station was less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel and easy to find. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant food was delicious. Because the hotel is close to the airport you can here planes, but it was not so loud that it kept us awake. If you have an early flight out of Heathrow and are looking for a clean, comfortable, reasonably priced, and convenient hotel this is where you want to be.
Traveler type: Couples
By a one-way tube ticket to Hounslow Central to get to the hotel rather than a 4-zone day travel card. Again in the morning, by a one-way tube ticket to Heathrow.

This Is A Real Deal
Lisa Oct 31, 2009
Days Inn Hounslow is a real gem for travelers who want the convenience of being close to London without the London prices. ... Staff is extremely helpful and professional, the rooms are clean and fairly spacious, and the restaurant and bar are real conveniences when you are unfamiliar with the area. Free wireless is a huge plus. Surroundings include the Picadilly line tube, an ASDA market open 24 hours, and a lively high street with pubs and shops. When we come back to London, we will return to Days Inn Hounslow.
Traveler type: Couples
Most restaurants on the high street close by 7 or 8. Try Central Tasty, a little Polish takeaway just outside the Hounslow Central tube stop. Open until 11pm, it serves really great fish and chips and hearty Polish fare. Great food.

Team Coordinator Oct 20, 2009
My group of 11 used the hotel as base for 2 days of exploring London. We used the hotel parking lot for our mini-bus and was ... pleased with the resonable cost. There is plenty of meal options in the surrounding community. The hotel staff provided A+ service to our needs.

Nice Hotel in Quaint part of town
Kate Oct 10, 2009
I stayed here for one night after a week of business in Cambridge. Hotel is a short walk from the Hounslow Central tube ... station (Picadilly Line). About 1 hour tube ride to central London, 10 minute ride to Heathrow. Note: Hounslow Central tube station is NOT handicap accessible, so be wary if you're traveling with a lot of luggage. Hotel is in a charming part of town. Lots of diversity of people, shops, and markets. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant, which was delicious! Hotel staff were very accommodating and courteous. Rooms were small, but very clean and utilized "green" technology with the lights. I would DEFINITELY stay here again when visiting London, either for business or pleasure.

The room was great,it was about 15 min. from the airport. A little airplane noise, not to bad. The underground was very ... close and we went by it into London. We had a rental car that we turned in at the airport. Until then the parking was lousy- great place to stay if you don't have a car. Nice walking area close for needed items. We had a great trip.

I stayed with the hotel for two days as part of my six-day jurney in UK. For the first two days, I visit downtown London and ... Cambridge University. The location of hotel is convenient and has easy access to nearby restaurants and grocery stores. The room is very clean except for the extremely small size and unworked bolb. Nice hotel -good value!
London 10X Sep 7, 2009
Hounslow Central underground station is just 2 minutes away and hotel is super easy to reach! As others have noted, though, ... there are two sets of stairs and heavy luggage is a pain (arriving there the steps go down - so it's not too bad). It cost me 18 GBP to get to Terminal 3 when I left the hotel. The hotel is in great shape and everyone was super nice - my first room had weak AC but they put me next door and the AC was great (the windows are not double-glazed, so you can hear some aircraft noise - but it's not too bad). I love the huge walk-in shower and everything was tidy and clean. It's just a 2 minute walk up the street to find various shops, stores, laundry, restaurants, banks, etc. The area was nice - nothing to be afraid of! Everyone must remember that London is an old city and the architecture is different than the US. I will probably stay there again!!

They gave me a mini-sized refrigerator (holds only about six cans - it is about the size of two shoesboxes, literally) for no charge.

Good Airport Hotel alternative
Roy Sep 5, 2009
Certainly a great low priced alternative to the airport hotels on Bath Row, excellent value and best of all 300 yards to ... Hounslow Central underground station - no overpriced unreliable Hoppa Bus. Underground trains to and from Heathrow every 5 minutes for GBP 1-10 with an Oyster Card. Only downside are the steps at Hounslow Central if you have luggage there's no elevator or escalator. Suitable for overnight airport stay. English breakfast at GBP 9-95 is reasonable value for the airport hotel, and is a buffet.

Days Hotel in Hounslow
Young adult traveler Aug 24, 2009
Traveling with friends. The hotel was nice with a bar that is open 24 hours the only one in the whole city. The rooms were ... huge compared to the ones found in London. The tube is only a one block walk. The only problem is the area around the hotel is shady. Not advised for families but for young adults wanting to go to local shady pubs and drink and eat cheap then this is the best area for you...

Nice hotel, just a few tube stops from Heathrow airport. Hotel is less than 200 meters south of Hounslow Central tube ... station. Rooms have air conditioning, which was nice in August. Room and lobby were clean and modern. Nice bar in the lobby. Not much for sight seeing near the hotel. It was a good place to stay near the airport.

The online rate did not include breakfast. Just down the street, across from the tube station, is a small grocery. Also, there is a doner kabob restaurant just a couple of doors down from the grocery (small fast food place, very basic). Good options for quick and inexpensive food.
