Rudeness and Shabbiness to the Max

We picked the hotel because we stayed there before and for its pool. The pool was broken 3 of our 7 days and we were offered ... no compensation or offsetting benefit and were harassed about returning the pool towels. The first room we were assiugned was old with stained and torn carpets, frayed linens and peeling paint. After complaining we got a musty but renovated room which was adequate thoiugh the key cards didn't stay magnetized and had to be redone daily. The staff was downright hostile refusing requests for help, ice, and extra towels. The concierge was useless. He didn't know about well known hot spots and restaurants and when we asked for driving directions, we were told that nobody in tel aviv knows anything about driving in jerusalem. The Crown Plaza is a 100% example of what NOT to be as a hotel.
