Very good location. Extremely courteous and helpful staff. Bathroom too small, no counter space on vanity. Outside flood ... light illuminating the exterior of the building pointed right into our eyes on the 10th floor.

The people working at the hotel were great and after a long hard day of playing, we wanted to enjoy dinner on the balcony; ... however, there is a hotel rule that prevents chairs on the balcony. This rule will prevent us from returning to the Plaza. It will also remind us to check with other hotels we book at to ask about thier policy of dining on the balcony and if they allow chairs on the balcony. When reading the flyer on the Plaza before booking at the hotel, it mentioned the balcony so we assumed we could sit out, have breakfast and dinner and enjoy the view silly us! By the way, there was only one chair in the room for two people. When we asked for another chair so we can have a conversation, we were told only one chair per room. I guess we expected too much from the Crown Plaza.

I DIDN'T STAY VERY LONG, IN ORDER TO ENJOY ALL OF THE AMMENITIES. HOWEVER, MY SHORT TIME THERE WAS PLEASANT THE EMPLOYEES ... WERE ACCOMODATING AND MY KIDS HAD A GREAT TIME IN THE POOL. ALSO, THE LOCATION WAS CLOSE TO SHOPPING AND THE FIREWORKS DISPLAY AT NIGHT WAS FABULOUS.

This was a nice, relaxing stay. The hotel was convenient to restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. We had a plumbing ... problem initially which was handled immediately and appropriately. The staff was friendly, and having the Ruth's Chris restaurant on site was convenient, albeit pricey. After our mishap we were moved immediately to another upgraded room with a riverview.

The hotel is in a great location. really close to everything. we really liked the pool being close to the river giving you ... great views of the river and the city. We ate ate the Ruth's Chris Steak House on location and had great steak allong with great service. check in and out was easy and fast. Room service was noisy while cleaning a next door room making it almost imposible to relax, "Slaming doors and other noises" other than that we had a great time and would love to return in the future.

we were on the executive level. very clean and quiet. nice lounge in lobby. ruth chris on site. right on the river, ... inexpensive water taxi out front. jacksonville landing just over bridge, short walk. numerous restaurants and shops, music playing througout area. football arena 2 minute cab or 10 minute water taxi. only 15 minutes to jacksonville beach which was terrific!

Stayed at Crowne Plaza for a Jaguars game weekend. River City Brewing is in very close proximity as is Ruth's Chris(in ... hotel). River City is a good place to have a nice dinner, watch the river, have a drink, or listen to music. Hotel was very clean and staff was excellent. Breakfast was great as well.
