Good Location
FD Oct 27, 2009
One of the reasons I enjoyed staying at this Hotel is: "Value for Money". Not only did the location was great, but also the ... atmosphere of the hotel was just friendly. Rooms, Hallways, Elevators, Gym Center, etc... Everything was impeccable... Very friendly, helpful, and polite Staff Members... I wouldn't hesitate to go back and stay more days, instead of two...

Very nice hotel in a very nice location
Me Sep 27, 2009
The staff was polite, and, best of all, knowledgable and efficient. We received the exact room we requested and were ... processed quickly. Also, it was easy to walk to many great restaurants in Greek town and to walk to downtown Chicago.

We went to the aquarium nvy pier an one sixty blue...it was a great time. Only thing you could possibly change is adding the ... valet parking onto the online price so people aren't blindsided by a side cost. Otherwise a very nice stay.

Crowne Plaza Chicago Metro
PJ Sep 21, 2009
The staff was very good -- courteous reception at the valet and desk. The room was wonderful!... Crowne Plazas have very ... comfortable bedding so I enjoyed that (again) and slept really well after the concert. Good location next to I-90 (but can't hear it in the room) and just up the street from the United Center -- a $7 taxi ride to the Mag' Mile. The elevators had a bit of a weird smell, but that'd be the only constructive criticism I'd have for them.

Great stay, will come back!!
A very happy couple Sep 20, 2009
We loved the modern classy room and the balcony! There was music playing late into the night and we could hear it from the ... 15th floor...which we didn't mind at all. The hotel was comfortable and casual and had a nice restaurant and martini bar attached with a great atmosphere. It was within walking distance to the green/pink CTA lines which we took advantage of and the bell hops were very helpful in getting a cab if we needed one. We were also comfortable storing our bag in their luggage storage room after we checked out so we wouldn't have to lug it around the rest of the day before leaving town. The staff was very friendly and polite. The only problem with the room was very minor issues like the TV remote not working properly, there was a piece of baseboard loose that hindered the sliding bathroom door from opening at first and the small lights above the bed didn't work. We didn't complain about these things as they didn't really bother us too much. Over all were were very pleased with the stay and would come back again.

Definitely recommended
Boston, Ma Sep 14, 2009
This hotel is right on the edge of downtown. It's only a few blocks from the Sears Tower. But, if you don't feel like ... walking too much, buses and trains can take you anywhere in the city. A bus stop is literally across the street from the hotel and it's only about 10-15 minute ride up to the lake front (Millennium Park/Art Institute/Gold Coast/Magnificent Mile). You're also next door to many essentials - two Starbucks, Walgreens, and a supermarket. Our room had a really modern feel and was super clean and comfortable. I think I read that the hotel was either built or remodeled in 2005. It definitely seemed up to date. I believe there is free Wi-Fi, but we were not traveling with a computer. The hotel has a small business center with four 4 computers available to guest for free. Unfortunately, they were having an issue with the printer when we were there, but the front desk staff offered to print our boarding passes in their office - they definitely went above and beyond.

The best part of our room was that the Balcony had a spectacular view of Willis Towers. The room was nicely maintained and ... the room service was up to the mark. Parking in downtown is always costly but here it was $36 overnight, a bit costly though. We found a public pay and park right opposite to the Hotel entrance for $20 overnight parking and parked there for the second day/night.

A 7 Hour Tour
Sal Aug 16, 2009
We did a lot in 7 hours. Stood on the ledge at Willis Towers, go after 1pm, shorter lines. Visited Navy Pier and rode 2 ... rides and watched the Air and Water show that was occuring that weekend, then when ended at the Science and Industry Museum, but missed the U505 sub tour. Plan only one or 2 items per day, so you can enjoy each of them to the fullest. Put an intinery together at home then go online and locate the buses you need and there location from your hotel. That is an easy way to navigate the city. If you enjoy Greek food then this hotel would be perfect because it is located in Greektown. It is about a 10-15 min walk from the train station. The room was relaxing in a modern decor. We had a corner room with city lights, but no chairs on the balcony so we could enjoy them.

Go on line and locate the CTA (bus)route. It was a great time saver and the drivers were very helpful. One day ticket is $5.75 at CVS pharmacy and one direction ride is $2.50. We weren't thrilled with our 1day Chicago Go cards, so I wouldn't promote their use.
