A great place to stay on a budget!
Crystal D. Sep 28, 2009
We spent a weekend to tour Temple Square and local stores. This location is only a block away from an Am Trax station which ... is a simple and cheap way to travel downtown and is also inside the Free Fare zone. Being only about three blocks away from Temple Square and other downtown areas, this was a great place for the price! It is right off the Interstate and is easy to get to. The only problem was the room was smaller than expected and didn't have a good view from the window. The breakfast buffet costs money but is very extensive and filling.
Traveler type: Friends
If you are traveling downtown and like to walk to view the scenery, I highly recommend the Trax system near this hotel. It is free to travel downtown to see attraction like Temple Square and many other galleries and stores. This place is surrounded by many restaurants both by the hotel and the Trax.

Salt Lake City is one of our favorite places to visit and stay overnight. Your property is conveniently located to all ... points of interest--especially a short drive to Interstate 15. We appreciate the ability to park our rental car near the front door. Having a nice breakfast room within your hotel was also a plus. This was our second stay in a Marriot-owned property in Salt Lake City--this year and September, 2007. Both hotel stays enhanced our visit.

Great location for conference
Lindaree Aug 30, 2008
When my husband and I arrived in Salt Lake City, this being our first visit there for our conference, we were well pleased by ... its location to the Salt Palace Conference Center. Upon check in, the manager gave us a map of the city and told us we were only 5 minutes walking distance to Salt Palace. There were several great restaurants around the hotel also in walking distance. Our room was very nice, clean, and spacious and the staff readily available with our requests. The overall appearance of this hotel was great and the dining room and staff superb. We will book this hotel again next year for our conference and encourage as many of our business associates to do the same.

The room was very comfortable for the price though the closet/sink area was just a little bit small, but what impressed me ... the most was the great service! From the front desk to the staff at the restaurant to the maid service, everyone was very helpful and friendly. All service was prompt and delivered with a smile!

Great hotel for business travelers
Donnell Jul 16, 2008
The Courtyard Marriott was very comfortable, the room seemed much larger than most with a desk area and a table and two ... chairs. I liked the fact that the bathroom was separate from the vanity area and there was a sink with a long counter and there was adequate space for hanging clothes and they provided two suitcase stands. The location was very good -- it was really only one long block to Temple Square and there were restaurants very close.

OK Stay
Steven Jun 24, 2008
This Marriott Courtyard was very much like all the other Marriott Courtyards. Nothing more, nothing less. While the staff at ... the front desk was friendly and competent, the maid service was difficult to work with due to their lack of English. Also had to pay more to extend the stay because they didn't know what I had paid and could not replicate that rate. Nothing remarkable but nothing dissapointing. Did have to run the air conditioning at night due to the road noise.
