Hotel doesn't honor Orbitz room types
No room to move mom Sep 8, 2009
Hotel was very nice, unfortunately upon arrival, very late at night, I found out they would not honor the room type we ... reserved and crammed 3 of us in a regular room with one bed and a couch. I reserved a 1 bedroom suite with 324 sq ft. When I showed them my reservation papers with a description of the room type they advised they could do nothing for me and told me to call Orbitz. Which I did and as of yet...I am out of luck. This put a very negative experience on both my stay and Orbitz.

Thanks for three great days in Portland!
Library Girl Jul 9, 2009
We throughly enjoyed our stay here due to the friendly and professional care from the staff. We made good use of the ... complimentary shuttle that travels within 5 miles of the hotel. The hotel restaurant was quite good and the food was very reasonably priced; we had dinner and breakfast. I will definitely come back to the Marriott Courtyard on Wasco!

There is a book of restaurant menus and basic information in the lobby; we chose a fantastic, historical restaurant where we will dine again. There were many we could have chosen!

Great stay! Helpful & attentive staff, clean & quite rooms, great value. Hotel restaurant served a full brunch for only ... 9.95! My teens loved the fact we only four blocks from Oregons largest shopping mall. Skating rink and movie theaters also in mall. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

"good enough mom" Jun 9, 2009
The staff was helpful and accomidatng, the food at the breakfast buffet was very good. We enjoyed the Rose parade from in ... front of the hotel. It was close to the max line which made getting downtown or to the airport easy. Several good resturants were near by if you tired of eating in the hotel resturant which was good and reasonable priced.

Not at all unhappy
sole proprietor Jun 8, 2009
We loved the location, it was a few blocks to free rail into the city. It was quiet, clean, comfortable. I was a little ... irritated that the pool was closed the day we arrived...however, it did open the next day. Also, was not happy that the room was entered/cleaned when we had the Do Not Disturb sign out...they should write DO NOT ENTER perhaps, a little more direct, so the crew would understand. Also was not happy that on the day we arrived the gate to the secure parking was broke and in the up position. However nothing happened to our car and it was fixed the following day.

Decent hotel for a weekend in Portland
Professor Tiki Jun 7, 2009
We were in town for a weekend which happened to be the Rose Festival weekend. The hotel was chosen for a combination of good ... price and excellent location right off the Red/Blue Max train line. We didn't spend much time in the hotel, but did appreciate the convenience of hopping right onto the train. We also watched the Rose Parade from right outside the hotel. The staff did a good job managing the crowds and all over the weekend with one exception. They closed the pool and hot-tub for "required maintenance" on Friday evening when there were lots of folks around ahead of the parade. If they needed to close it due to over-demand, they should have been honest.

Perfect location
Satisfied guests Jun 6, 2009
We stayed here on the weekend of the Rose Festival Parade. In fairness, the spectators camping out overnight on the street ... may have accounted for why it was noisy all night long. The room was spotless and the service and personnel were above expected. The location is very central to everything in Portland especially since it was within walking distance of "MAX" which can take you everywhere.

The Courtyard Marriott/Convention Center is a bargain considering the location, friendly staff, excellent fitness center, bar ... and restaurant. The front desk was able answer questions about a running route along the Willamette River that started from the front door of the hotel.
