Great Hotel

My boyfriend and I visited VA Beach for a last minute weekend getaway and we really enjoyed our stay at the Courtyard. We ... were right on the oceanfront so we had easy access to the beach and when it rained we headed for the indoor pool. There were a lot of activities available and lots of great places to eat nearby. This wasn't my first stay at a Courtyard Marriott and it won't be the last. According to my boyfriend, Courtyard Marriott is where we'll stay whenever we visit VA Beach from now on. It's a great place to stay!

it was my first time staying a night at va beach was hotel hunting like crazy one week before wasnt sure where to stay the ... price of the marriote was alittle high at first and i wasnt sure if it was going to be good or bad staying there i gave it a shot and i was very please to say its was wroth the money super nice hotel, staff on everything, very nice pool, beatiful view from the balconly i couldnt complain about anything. i recommand this hotel to anyone u looking for a nice quite place close to the resturants this is the place believe me. next i go am staying her again.

Have been traveling to Virginia Beach for over 15 years. Courtyards by Marriott is by far the best of all the hotels we've ... stayed at. Great location, friendly staff, free coffee 24 hours per day, extra parking, beautiful, large rooms, fantastic ocean view.....staff members who stood out this time - front desk employee [...] (Asian male), and [...] (valet service).Can't thank you enough for an unbeatable vacation!

Two great places - only 7 blocks away - Murphy's Pub and Restaurant at 30th and Pacific (great Irish music, Sunday brunch), and Catch-31 Restaurant on 31st and Atlantic - seafood is among the best in Virginia Beach and indoor/outdoor bar is huge. Outdoor patio available for dining/drinking, and dancing to the music that plays on the lawn right outside the restaurant most weekends in the summer and fall.

Orbitz advertized Complimantary Breakfast for two adults and childern under 12, but that is not a policy or promotion that ... the hotel recognizes. Orbitz should not advertise a policy that the hotels do not recognize.

We really enjoyed the balcony and the great oceanfront view. The room was quite spacious, and it was nice to have a ... minifridge. This is one of the furthest north hotels on the boardwalk which made it a little quieter, but still within walking distance to a lot of great dining options. Our only small complaint was that the room wasn't ready at the 4pm check-in time. The hotel had been completely full the night before and for some reason, the housekeeping staff wasn't able to clean all of the rooms in time. There were a lot of people in the lobby still waiting when we got our room shortly after 4. Other than that, it was a great place to stay. We definitely plan on coming back to this hotel.

If you are looking for a relaxing getaway, this hotel is perfect. It is fairly far north along Atlantic Ave, and in a much quieter location. If you are looking to go out at night, a better option may be a hotel that is further south, closer to more of the bars.

This hotel was very nice. It was just a little far from the main part of the tourist area. So if you want a quiet area this ... is a great hotel. The rooms were excellent and provide a great view of the ocean. Perfect for watching sunrise!

We really enjoyed this quick get-a-way. Clean and staff was very pleasant. Sheets didn't fit the beds that well though and ... wish they had room service for breakfast and lunch, not just dinner. Overall very satisfied with our stay.
