Wonderful Stay In Middleton
Traveling Tina Nov 9, 2009
We were in Madison to visit our daughter who attends UW Madison. The location of the hotel is quiet, but near (walking ... distance) to Greenway Station - shopping & restaurants. Love the decor, cleanliness, amenities & staff friendliness. The hotel rooms were spacious, bed was comfortable - love the large showers. The only area lacking is a complimentary breakfast.

Homecoming 09
Badger31 Oct 20, 2009
My wife and I were in town for UW-Madison's homecoming game. The location was perfect. Far enough to avoid the overwhelming ... crowds but close enough to get to campus for those activities we wanted to participate. All dining locations were within walking distance, spots bar and night club next door (which was a little noisy for us. Pounding beats at 2 in the morning) Costco behind, excess to freeways feet away. It would have been nice to know that the hotel had some type of connection with the university and it's events during such a special event. Maybe some UW and Iowa pennants posted in the lobby. The refrigerator took a little getting used to. If the food you placed in the fridge was cold it maintained the temp for you. If you had leftovers or snacks that needed to be cold you had to go to the ice machine, fill up a plastic baggy and place it in the fridge with your food. We thought our fridge was broken. This procedure was not explained to us upon check in. All in all it was a great stay

The hotel was very nicely staffed and decorated. It was pleasant until we got to our room. Even on the 4th floor the sound of ... the nightclub next door was LOUD. you could feel and hear it - until 2 AM! it was awful.

The Capital Brewery in the downtown Middleton district(which in itself is quite charming)has a great Beer Garden with live music on the weekends. Around the corner is The Hody Bar, which also has live music and dancing-lots of fun to be had! Both are a short drive from the hotel.

Easy in and easy out and a great location. A bit noisy from a local dance club and pretty thin walls. Comfortable beds and ... very clean.

We had a fun family reunion. The rooms were spacious and clean. The bed comfy. The breakfast excellant. Lots of families ... with children enjoying the pool and exercise room but did not disrupt the other people. The desk clerks were curteous and helpful. I would go again!

Once I found the hotel, I discovered it was very conveniently located near shopping and nightlife at both Greenway Station ... and downtown Middleton. The room was a bargain, spotless and well-appointed.
