Relaxing In The Sun
Honeymooners Sep 29, 2009
It was a truly great All-Inclusive experience! No extra charges for premium liquors at any of the bars. Also, it's a Pepsi ... resort so don't expect Coke products&Jack and Pepsi is just not the same. All of the water sports were included including scuba diving and catamarans. The place was kept spotless and the staff was the friendliest I've ever encountered at a hotel/resort. Great selection of food at the buffet every day. The only drawback on dinning was the "upscale" restaurant where you had to make reservations and dress up. It lacked atmosphere just dimming the lights would have helped. The food was nice but nothing overly special. It's a great resort to just relax and have a fun time. I'd recommend it to anyone looking to do that. If you are looking for wild night life this would not be the resort for you.

Be prepared to haggle...even in "regular" stores. I purchased items marked for $60 USD at about half the price. The venders in town are sharks(nice but still sharks) and will try to persuade you to purchase their goods.

Pictures DO NOT do it justice
New to the Island Sep 5, 2009
For well over a month, I lamented about which resort to book with. Although we spent a bit more than the cheapest all ... inclusive, we could not have asked for more. As they say, you get what you pay for. I scoured Couples message board to study up on our vacation. I even read through the brochure multiple times. The food, ambiance, staff, activities, and excursions were beyond our expectations. Pictures of this resort do not do it justice! After visiting Couples Tower Isle, I am puzzled by those that complain about the most menial things. This resort is very clean and friendly. We have been to quite a few international trips, this is definately in our top 5. Also, the rates right now are unbeatable... we're planning on a trip next year as well!

Wonderful Honeymoon
Honeymooners Aug 26, 2009
My husband and I vacationed here for our honeymoon and we had a blast. The hotel was beautiful and the staff was very ... friendly. Construction work was happening on a few floors while we were there but they kept it out of the way and it didn't bother us one bit. The hotel offered plenty of water sports and activities, so that was nice but if you just want to sit back and relax than this is the perfect place! When we go back to Jamaica this is the place we will stay!

A great value and a great vacation
goingagain Jul 31, 2009
This our 2nd trip to an all inclusive to Jamaica. The first was to a family oriented resort but this time we decided to try ... an adults only resort. What a great choice Couples Tower Island was for us. The only down side is that it is an hour and a half from the airport. But it is a very private facility, in a bay with no other resorts around. The rooms were great, complete with beach towels tied in the shape of a heart/kissing swans on the bed, kind of like they do on cruises. The balcony had 2 chairs and a table with a great view. We went diving for 4 days in a row. Saw a sea turtle on the 3rd day, I can't say enough about the dive staff, very knowledgeable and very patient. I also played tennis every morning, and the pro was great too. We did go to the island and met some wonderful people. Very laid back and no one need be embarrassed about not having a perfect body. Food was awesome. Full American breakfast, and a lot of local favorites like saltfish and akee and Jamaican porridge and a great variety of fruits. Dinner was great at all the restaurants, I had a rack of lamb at 8 Rivers that was incredible! When we did eat at the buffet there was never a line. This is a small resort that includes a lot of things that are not included at other resorts. The trip to Dunn's River Falls, horseback riding and a sunset catamaran cruise. Take advantage of all of them, they make this vacation an exceptional value, and a great vacation experience all around. My wife summed it up on Thursday when she said "best vacation ever"

The hotel was great. The service was awesome, they dont want you to want for anything. The night entertainment was great. ... The swim up bar made relaxing by the pool that much better. Everything they say in the brochures and website are definitely true. The views are amazing. You must try the private island...

Try to do everything. So many activities come with the "all inclusive" you really dont have to go outside the resort for entertainment. Dunns River Fall and Margaritaville were alot of fun.

Mike&Carol Jul 15, 2009
This spot lived up to every expectation that we had. The staff was always helpful and friendly, the rooms and facilities ... were spotlessly clean. The food was far above average. This was our 1st vacation in 28 years of marriage, and we feel that we picked the perfect place. We can't wait to go back! Some of the best perks of staying at Couples Tower Isle were the activities. We took sail boat rides, we golfed, we rode horseback, we sang every night at the piano bar, we had 1st class meals, and if we had chosen to do so we could have done even more. All of this was included in the price! By the 2nd day, most of the staff were calling us by our first names. We felt like they really meant it when we arrived from the airport and said "Welcome home".

Great Place to Relax
Renee Jul 5, 2007
The Couples Ochio Rios was somewhat comfortable. I expected more as far as the room accomadations. The facility and furniture ... is somewhat outdated. The elevator was broken during our entire trip and the room air conditioner sporadically worked. However, the staff was GREAT and very responsive to any request. The location was great as well as the service! It is a resort where you can truly relax....your biggest decision of the day is: Do I relax by the pool? or Do I relax by the beach? Some renovations to the hotel need to made!

Food was the dissapointment
Keith May 22, 2007
The most dissapointing thing of this stay was the food. the times and selection was a great dissapoimtment. The hotel was ... very helpful after I complained about where I was located on the resort due to an injury I suffered just before leaving for vacation. They then moved me to a room closer to everything and near an elevator. The activities available were great if I would have been physicaly able to enjoy them. My feeling is that this resort is too far from the airport to make it worth while of the terrible 2 to 2 1/2 hour bus ride to the resort.

The room was a little run down. The pool was a small for the hotel's capacity. I did however, receive the best food and ... drinks from this hotel than most other all inclusives. They also include excursions and the ones we took advantage of were very nice. Overall the experience was good but place needs some refurbishing..
