We stay here often when we need to stay in the Cities as it is quiet, convenient to shopping, freeways, etc and a good value ... for the money.

There is a movie theater 5 miles N on 35E at Exit J. There also shopping there. There are 4 sports bars within a mile from the hotel-Jimmy's, Mad Jack's, Sak's, and Stadium. At the Stadium, there is a ball field next so you can watch a live game on Wednesdays and other nights.

Dont book this hotel, stay at the Holiday Inn express around the corner, at least you will get what what you paid for. I only gave them 1 star because I couldnt give them zero stars.

This is the place to go

This was big improvement from the last time I was at this location. Last time, traffic noise filled the room I was given and ... the hallway had noisy people (mostly preteens in the late evening. The breakfasts were buffet style and with hot selections. The location is right by the highway exit. It is also across from shopping mall. I am definitely coming back.

Worst Experience Ever.

Never booking a Carlson property with Orbitz again. No room guarantee policy of this hotel is unacceptable. When I book and ... PREPAY for a Non-Smoking room I want a Non-Smoking room. When I book and PREPAY a double queen room I want a double queen room not a single king room. When I book and PREPAY for 4 nights I want to stay in the same room all 4 nights not move from room to room every day.

Hotel was great, easy access off of 35E. Close to Walmart, Target, fast food, gas stations, and restuarants. Easy drive to ... Como Zoo and MOA. Fitness center is adequate, pool area is nice, waterslide is only open on weekends however, room was clean and comfortable. Would stay again. Great value.

Was definitely a cut above the average chain experience. Large, nicely furnished room with a window that opened -- great for ... a spring evening! The free breakfast was also better than most with a variety of choices.

This hotel was all I expected, except that the staff who checked us in was more unfriendly than most. Halfway through ... checking us in the employee took a phone call instead and did not ask anyone to help her at the counter. We had to wait until the manager came out to finish checking us in, and when he did there was still no apology or explanation on why we had sunk in priority so quickly! The woman who checked us out on the other hand, was professional and polite so I would give this hotel a second chance.

I chose this hotel because I thought it was close to a nightclub where we had tickets to see a band play. I was wrong. There is nothing within walking distance to this hotel - just a heads up.
