Close Enough, Nice Enough!

This was my second stay at this hotel during Ironman Florida. I was impressed by the simple quality of the hotel - not too ... flashy, not too spartan. The staff were very friendly and the morning breakfast was sufficient for the morning's needs. A Wal-Mart is across the street, which makes dining trips that much more simple. The rooms have a very workable mini-fridge and microwave combo - much better than the average bear... Parking is good and close to the front entrance, but the access is a little bit of a challenge. However, don't let this small issue deter you from spending a few days here. This place is close enough to the beach and entertainment, but far enough away to guarantee restful sleep. We will be back next IM week.

This was the perfect long weekend getaway. Country Inn & Suites was very clean and inviting. It's not super luxury, but it ... suited our needs for a relaxing weekend. You can walk to the beach through the Walmart parking lot and save yourself a lot of time. The breakfast a great way to start the day. Just note that the cleaning staff leaves around noon, so if they come around once and you don't let them in, chances are that you'll miss them until the next day.

I was in a wedding in PCB, but was on a budget and didn't want to get a condo on the beach, especially since we wouldn't be ... there that much. After searching for the best rate I came across Country Inn & Suites. The pictures looked good enough and the distance to where the wedding and reception was held was perfect. I was very pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Having never been to PCB I kind of expected some kind of college-kid type hotel, far away from everything, since the price was so great. Well first of all, I loved the location. Walgreens, Zaxby's, krystals, Walmart, and a *nice package store are all within walking distance. It is also a short walk or drive to Rigley's Believe it or not the beach, and several mini-golfs. If your into nightlife, Club LaVela and Spinnakers are also a short drive. The hotel is located right before the "strip" really starts and its very easy to avoid the traffic if you want by taking a side street parallel, which is where the hotel is. The free breakfast was really good and the pool was nice, although it is covered from the sun, kind if indoor/outdoor. Very clean and updated rooms and bathrooms, fridge, microwave, and flat screen t.v.'s in all rooms, which is really nice! My only complaint is that they didn't clean our room while we were there...when we asked they said they can't guarantee services ? I would've liked to come back to a cleaned room at the end of the day, but it wasn't too bad. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others who want to be somewhere quiet and not congested, but at the same time close to everything!

"The hotel that fit our needs"

A couple of guys and I went deep sea fishing in the Gulf of Mexico. Therefore, we were seeking a hotel that was quiet and ... clean when we came back at the end of the day. The County Inn was the place that fit our needs to perfection. In addition, the complimentary breakfast was a bonus too! The guys stated they would all come back again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Country Inns & Suites. We went to Panama City Beach for a wedding on the beach but ... couldn't afford the condo where the ceremony took place. We stayed just a half mile from the resort and we were just a 5 minute walk from the beach. We were truly happy with the location, there was everything we could possible need in walking distance from the hotel. The staff was very helpful and even got us a portable crib for our daughter.

The Country Inn, was a nice little hotel for me to get away from the house for a couple of nights. The room was very clean ... and comfortable not far from the beach or the night life. Only disappointment i had was that the bathroom amenities like toothpaste etc. was not furnished in the room i had to go to the front desk to get one. but the staff was very pleasant. Overall nice stay.
