My experience at the Copacabana was primarily positive. It is a big hotel and suffered from overcrowding during my stay ... there. It has three small and slow elevators to serve 322 rooms, so I ended up taking the stairs most of the time. The staff was wonderful and the rooms immaculate. The location was also very good. I was disappointed to have to wait 1/2 an hour or more to check in, the check in counter did not have enough room or people to make this process less time-consuming than it was. I purchased the all-inclusive stay and was quite pleased with the food selection. I was less pleased with the process for seating since there did not appear to be a consistent and orderly implementation of their system. I was also confused by the fact that both the dining area and the all-inclusive bar sought tips, since it was my understanding that that was included in the all-inclusive purchase price. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, but there is room for improvement.
