Decent room, but a poor experience

Upon arrival we were told that we would have to stay in a smoking room, even though we had booked non-smoking. They offered ... to put us in a non-smoking room, but it cost another $20 a night. Ridiculous. Otherwise, the rooms, pool and breakfast were average all-around.

Only Early Risers Get Breakfast
busy mom Jul 17, 2009
We were happy with everything, but were disappointed with the fact that the hot breakfast ended at 9:00 am. We feel that 10 ... am would accommodate those wanting to have somewhat of a restful vacation. We went down to eat at 9:20 and were told that the breakfast had ended and they had cleaned up at 9am. The kids were especially disappointed when they saw the Belgian waffle irons. I guess you can't sleep in if you vacation here. We ended up having to pay $27.00 up the road at McDonalds for our family of 5. I wish the hotel staff would have let us know that the breakfast ended at 9am when we had checked in, because that reduced the value of the hotel for us. The extra sleep wasn't worth the $27.00 for us. We really needed some family fun at a good price.

There is a great old fashioned soda fountain in town at the antique shop. Huge Cherry sodas and ice cream sundays for a great price. The kids loved it.

Enjoyed our stay.

We spent an nice quiet weekend in Snowflake. Took a scenic ride around the area. It was Memorial Day weekend and many of ... the restaurants in the area was closed as were the museums which was a bummer. However, we still enjoyed our time and found the motel nice and clean with a friendly staff. Would recommend to others.

Very helpful and pleasant
Susan May 25, 2008
Comfort Inn Snowflake's location was most comfortable and convenient for us. We were there to visit my brother whose ... business was just down the street. I hadn't seen him in 21 years, so being so close we had more time to visit and didn't have to use a lot of expensive gas to do so. We appreciated the extras like the iron and ironing board and the hair dryer in the room. Our room was spacious and very comfortable.
