Best deal near the beach

We stayed 2 nites prior to a cruise---the service, location, swimming, breakfast, etc were as good as the cruise!! We take a ... vacation to Fort Lauderdale about every 18 months---already looking forward to the next one, and you bet we'll stay here again!! Thanks for helping to make our vacation so perfect.

worth less hotel. stinky rooms. way too many over charges. they claim to be a good location. i dint think so and they are ... more keen to squeeze more $$ out of you than service. parking is at a charge for guests too. even thou there is a huge city parking next door. over all i think comfort inn need to remove their brand. i was duped with the comfort inn brand. but dint get what i expect. paid twice as much as i would have for a comfort inn 3 miles from this location.

THis hotel is 2 blocks from the ocean. I asked for an ocean view room thru this site and that's not what I got. Breakfast is ... provided. Take drinks with you to the hotel as there are not many vending machines. Pool has colorful slides and is heated. Rooms are good sized and comfortable. Hotel staff is not very friendly.

Overall is was great, was there to meet a friend that I haven't seen in over 37 years, access to the hotel made it easy for ... him to find me directly. The only negative was the parking, the Subway next door would attract people to park in the hotel parking, especially at night when you return from being out, an then waiting for a spot.

My husband and I wanted a quiet getaway close to home. This location was perfect because it was just one block from the ... beach, close to restaurants and had a pool, so we didn't have to drive anywhere. For the price, we had a very comfortable stay. My only disappointment was that the pool was being serviced our first 2 days there, and I was really looking forward to that, but other than that, I have no complaints.

We had a great time just relaxing and enjoying the peaceful enviornment. Our intentions were to stay one night but changed ... our minds and decided to stay two nights instead. Jane (Front Desk) was great! Very informative and friendly. We would definately stay there again.

This hotel is located 600ft from the Atlantic..perfect for getting to the beach. If you get a room on a higher floor, you ... have a very nice ocean view. Staff was more than friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean and organized. They also have coin laundry machines on the 4th floor to save you a trip to the Laundromat. Only downfall is you HAVE to pay for parking everyday and for a safe located in the room. It works out to be about another $10 a day. Pets can stay also, but I believe it is a additional fee for that.

The bed was amazingly comfortable! The staff was extremely nice and offered maps of the area with discounts to several ... restaurants. This hotel just opened a pool-side bar and is in a great location to the beach. I was a little surprised at being asked to pay a 50 dollar deposit each night for tv/phone, but at least was given the option of having both turned off and not being charged. The parking rate is standard for the area. The only thing that bothered me was the male employee knocking on my door at 9:45pm simply to ask if everything was ok.

Off beach. 3d floor room over intersection of A1A and Hillsboro Ave. Noise from road, motorcycles, cars and in general. No ... view. around midnight the room started flashing looked out window and police had cars with strobe lights in all four directions of the roads. Also flares. They were yelling and generally noisy ..The traffic signal had failed. Truck came to fix but it was a blinker in the morning.

Checked in late (after midnight) and had to ring a bell to be admitted to lobby. No one wss at the front desk and I had to ... ring several times and then go back to the car to get my cell phone so that I could call them. They charge $7 per night to park and $2 per night for a safe which you have to pay whether you use it or not. My safe didn't even work so I had to have maintenance come up to fix it. One day of my stay, my bed was made up but the bathroom wasn't cleaned. I called the front desk twice with no response and finally just told them to forget it and bring me clean towels. On afternoon I came back from the beach at 4pm and the room wasn't even made up. I again had to call the front desk twice to get anyone to come up. There were never any apologies from the staff. I always felt that I was a bother to them. It's very close to the beach and you can see the Ocean from your room, but there is no balcony to sit on to enjoy the view.

I had a noisy air conditioner that kept waking me up as the condensor cycled off and on. The next morning I reported in and ... when I returned to my room later that day they had installed a brand new unit. My only other complaint was that housekeeping didn't honor the Do Not Disturb sign, but I never brought this to the attention of management. This is a budget property, but the rooms are well-appointed with the kinds of amenities that make your stay more pleasant. There was even a VHS/DVD player in my room. Mini-fridge, microwave oven, coffee maker, ironing board, in-room safety box.

The Comfort in was a very accomodating, we did upgrade our room with no problem, it was with a water view. The room was ... very clean, and I liked the kitchenette area which we used daily. The Location was very central to everything and walking distance to the Beach. I would recommend this for families and also for all ages.
