I stayed at this hotel while visiting my son for Familty Weekend at Rollins. The hotel is close to campus. While it might ... have been newly renovated the hallways and rooms have a saml/odor that is just suffocating. We turned on the airconditioning to ventilate the room, it got cold, but only one tiny and thin balnket is provided to we froze. The towels are gray from frequent washing and with holes. While the price is good, not sure that the torture suffered was worth it.

go to Winter Park on Park Ave - it is just lovely for shopping and eating.

Comfort Inn North, Orlando, is conveniently located just blocks from I-4 and a short drive to either downtown Orlando or ... Winter Park. Rollins College is also close by. The hotel is quiet, the staff friendly, there is plenty of parking, the rooms are large (king sized bed and a large sofa bed) and always very clean, and the breakfast is very good.

The hotel is also a modest drive to International Drive and all of the Disney World, Sea World, and MGM Studio attractions. Also, the Orlando museums and theaters (3) are all a short drive.

My review of Comfort Inn North

Comfort Inn Orlando north is well situated for activities in Winter Park to the south, downtown Orlando, just south of Winter ... Park, and such towns as Altamonte Springs, DeLand, etc., to the north. It is but a few blocks to the west of I-4 and, hence, it is but a quick ride to Disney, etc. The rooms are large and well appointed and the hotel is well-maintained and quiet. Breakfast is especially good, and includes waffles, hard-boiled eggs, do-nuts, cereals, juices, etc. You will not leave hungry. Several very fine restaurants are within walking distance and the mall at Altamonte Springs but a few minutes by auto.

Some of the best nightlife in Orlando is located at the Church Street Station on, you guessed it, Church Street in downtown Orlando. Simply take I-4 west but a few miles and exit at Colonial Drive. At the bottom of the exit ramp, turn left, cross the railroad tracks and take the very first right, Oranga Avenue. Turn right on Church Street.

The rooms at Comfort Inn have all recently been renovated and it really does make a difference. The rooms are large and very ... well appointed, the staff is courteous and efficient, and the location is really good. Not only does the room have the usual furnishings but also a comfortable couch which can be made into another double bed as well as a desk a coffee table, and an additional chair for reading. It is but minutes from downtown Orlando via I-4 and only a few minutes more to the Disneyworld area.

There are severla full-dinner restaurants nearby, one next door and the other across the street as well as an assortment of fast-food places and convenience stores.

This inn is well situated, easy to find, and comfortable in all aspects. My room was large, the breakfast was really good, ... and the location, near I-4, made it readily accessible to all points.

Downtown Orlando is a short and quick auto ride on I-4. Getting out to the Disney attractions is longer and can take time in rush-hour traffic. For these attractions, stay near I-4 west of Orlando and not north.

The Comfort Inn North in Orlando, FL seemed old and run down. For the most part the grounds were kept clean. The room ... seemed 1970s kind of old with repairs needed for broken or missing things like base boards and tile. The furnishings needed updating and the room seemed dark. But, it did appear to be clean and tidy. The staff was pleasant. The hotel is near rail road tracks so be prepared for a 3am train.

Some of the best nightlife in Orlando is located at the Church Street Station on, you guessed it, Church Street in downtown Orlando. Simply take I-4 west but a few miles and exit at Colonial Drive.
