Big bright sun
Mark S Mar 10, 2009
This area is within a short drive of some very glamorous mountains, Boulder and Denver. It was unseasonably warm (breaking ... some very old records), but I had to complain to the hotel staff that my room was so warm I had to run the AC and leave the window partially open when it was 50 degrees outside to keep from getting too warm. They offered to move me, but I only had 2 nights left. It also bothered me that they propped the fire doors open at the top of the stairwell. All in all, a somewhat pleasant stay. The place is clean, no questions about being safe in that neighborhood, and plenty of places to drive within 30 miles. What can I say? It was only $70 a night.

Estes Park, Denver, Sailplane rides, horseriding, spectacular skiing. It's the lovely part of Colorado. The sun is brighter there (and the air a bit thinner). A bit closer to God.

Close to Denver, But Not Too Close
Cheryl Sep 9, 2008
Location, location, location. The best thing about this motel is the location. It's only about 20 minutes from the Denver ... airport, 30 minutes from Rocky Mountains National Park, and 2 minutes from plenty of shopping and restaurants. All of the personnel were cheerful and helpful. The room was a comfort- able size and very clean. The continental breakfast included many items to choose from and was always well stocked. I would recommend it to anyone. We had the best of both worlds. We were close to all the places we wanted to visit, yet away from the big city atmosphere.
Traveler type: Couples
Attractions within an hour of the motel are Pike's Peak, Garden of the Gods(free city park, well worth the visit) which is incredible.

Very accomodating
john Mar 2, 2008
The hotel staff was very accomodating and even though my original room was taken they did upgrade me to a bigger room and ... were very nice in doing so. I would recommend them for their politeness.
