What a dump!

The room was musky, the carpet needed replacing, the bathroom sink had a large hole, the furniture and furnishings were cheap ... and not well maintained. There were several safety isues. My husband slipped in the shower because there was no slip guard and it was very slick, the hotel elevator door does NOT stop closing if someone is in the way (so watch out for your arms and legs), the tv is not securely set on the dresser and is very wobbly (not good for young kids). My husband spoke to several other people staying in the hotel and they all said there rooms were also very bad. The person who owns this hotel does not put any money back into the upkeep of the hotel. We left as soon as possible

Every thing was excellent. Would definitely stay at the hotel again. BUT - Bad experience. Around 10:00 PM our locked ... secured door was unlocked,pushed opened until stopped by the chain lock. Maintenace personal said this room was supposed to be vacant and he was to perform maintenace. My wife was watching TV, I asleep, Scared. It was their maintenance person. Front desk, maintenance man, many excuses, no one could explain why. I told them that if the customer had a concealed permit it could have been tragic. Thank God I do not have one.

We checked into the Comfort Inn late at night and could not find it right away as it is located behind several businesses ... that block the view of the hotel from the street. The front desk person was helpful, however in giving us directions and very friendly upon check-in. The main point of dissatisfaction I had was that there was black mold around the outside base of the tub and onto the bathroom doorway. A little bleach would take care of this problem. The continental breakfast was nice and convenient as we were going to the Conference Center early. The location is convenient to many attractions. But for the money, I don't think this was the best value.
