Great Downtown location!
Nellie Sep 1, 2009
A last minute decision to come to Denver...literally decided on Friday night to come down on Saturday! Wanted to stay ... downtown but didn't think we would find an inexpensive hotel on that short of notice. However, we did! We stayed at the Comfort Inn Downtown and it was great. Easy to find, Clean, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, 1 block off 16th street. It was everything we hoped to find in a hotel but didn't think we would get at the last minute!!

Good hotel, location and breakfast
Super travellers Aug 27, 2009
We spent two nights in this Denver's hotel. Location was perfect: one block from 16th street. Staff was friendly. Parking was ... not expensive (20$ day). Free internet. Breakfast was good. Only two problems: it's difficult to find this hotel if you haven't GPS; sunday breakfast starts at 7 am, later than other days, and if you have a flight early in the morning you can't have breakfast. Anyway coffee and muffins are available at reception.

Great location, but . . .
Grandma YoYo Aug 17, 2009
Great location! close to shopping mall and historical sites. Staff very helpful in directions to places. a bit to noisy at ... night. we were closer to the elevator and heard it all through the night as well as each door opening and closing. Great breakfast the next morning. Best we've ever gotten at a Comfort Inn. Valet parking was a bit expensive, but we left our car and walked the city after checking out of room for several hours to compinsate. directions off the web site did not give acurate directions and so we had to circle the block several times to find the valet parking entrance.

Great location for the price
mamiRu Aug 10, 2009
My husband and I spent nine days in this hotel. Reading other reviews, I expected a noisy place, but it wasn't. The only ... noise came a couple of times from very loud inconsiderate guests walking the hallways. The location and breakfast were the best. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If you look for luxury go to the hotel across the street (which is three times more expensive). If you are not that demanding, this hotel is great.

Gary Jun 29, 2009
Downtown Denver is tricky to navigate, but once past that the hotel was very accomodating. The free breakfast in the morning ... was very good, although as you might guess, a bit crowded. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They have an excellent parking service for $20 per day.

Our first trip to Denver... the hotel staff pointed us in the direction of restaurants when we asked about area attactions. ... They did not mention that we were only 1/2 block from the 16th street mall, which provides plenty to do for visitors. The area includes lots of shopping, restaurants, movie theatre, cafes and book stores.

Great location, okay hotel
R.A.K.J. May 8, 2009
We were attending an event at the Colorado Convention Center and the location of the hotel was great (with in walking ... distance). The bathroom sink flooded while we were gone and soaked our stuff in hair residue. Our room was next to the elevators and the elevator squeeked all night. Did not know that valet parking was $20 per night when we made the reservation.

Good Value
Emily Oct 18, 2008
The Comfort Inn is in a great location, and the staff is extremely competent and helpful. The property is nothing fancy - ... continental breakfast is bread products, cereal, yogurt, scrambled eggs & sausage, pancakes, and some simple whole fruit - but perfectly adequate. The bedding has been upgraded and is comfortable. My only complaints are that the property is old - bathroom fixtures are outdated, not many electrical outlets - and the walls are pretty thin. Nonetheless, the hotel provides a very good value.

very nice exterior
Alex Dec 13, 2007
The Comfort Inn in downtown Denver has a very nice exterior. The check-in area and the surrounding areas are very nice. The ... room was very small. I was a little dissappointed by its' size. The windows were not very insulated and cold air was coming in through the window seals. While my car was in valet parking, something spilled onto my windsheild that does not come off at all. This has just been a very big hassel for me and I do not think I will be staying at Comfort Inn again.
