Great Stay.
nq Oct 20, 2009
Ours was a short stay, but we found the accomodations to be very pleasant. Although the location was not upscale, that may ... be what kept the price low. The staff was friendly, and the room was very clean. The king sized bed was the most comfortable that we have ever had in a hotel room. We would definitely stay here again, and will recommend it to our friends.

EXCELLENT hotel. Good price.
LSDaisy Oct 13, 2009
I'm very picky about hotels, but this place had it all, including refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot in each room. Nice ... decor. Clean. Quiet. Great location near downtown Charleston. Professional service. Great complimentary breakfast including fresh waffles. The staff was knowledgeable about the area, knew everything about the restaurant I had in mind, and even game me a coupon from behind the counter. I have absolutely no complaints. A+

Jan Oct 5, 2009
We were very apprehensive when we saw the area where the hotel was located...as a matter of fact, we strongly considered not ... staying. The staff, however, was very nice and the room itself was fine, so we stayed. The location was a little scary, though.

This hotel is in a sort of rough neighborhood, but is a nice place to stay. The beds are the most comfortable I have ever had ... in a hotel. The breakfast was adequate, and service is good, with the staff even printing me directions on how to get to the beach from the hotel. Not a long drive from downtown Charleston or Folly Beach. Overall it is a nice place to stay on a budget.

A great two night stay!
JPRESS Aug 22, 2009
If you are traveling to Charleston this hotel is great, although its not in Charleston its right off the highway exit and ... easy to find, it only takes about ten minutes to get to the historic district and not have to worry about driving and the crowded traffic there, there is plenty of cheap public parking in the historic district&&.it took me the longest to figure out if I wanted to pay for the over priced hotel with no good Amenities or get more bang for my buck I got two nights of the Clarion Inn for less than the prices of one night in a hotel in the historic district I researched the reviews and studied the photos long and hard this hotel was recently updated and the mattress and pillows were to die for and the breakfast was pretty hearty..... long story short money well spent!!! I will definitely book this hotel again!

First Charleston Trip
Redangel Aug 19, 2009
This was our first trip to Charleston. The hotel was nice and not too far from activities, would have preferred to be closer ... to downtown but for the price it was great. We stayed on the first floor and it would have been nice if the sliding glass doors actually opened. Would have preferred two queen beds in the room instead of the full size bed though, trying to sleep comfortably with two adults in the full size beds wasn't too fun. Compared to other trips it was still nice and we enjoyed ourselves.
