Resort price at economy price

Apart from a TV remote that wouldn't work, but was eventually fixed, we really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were super clean, ... the pool and poolside cabanas made it feel like a resort. Restaurant not great but the clean crisp sheets and duvets on the beds made our stay feel luxurious. We stayed in September when rates were only half or less of what they charge in the high season winter months, so it felt like a real steal. Front desk staff were very helpful. Great location to get almost anywhere - near some really great shopping centres, easy access to freeways and through-streets. Only a couple blocks from Old Town Scottsdale where you could spend a whole day exploring. Very pleased and would stay again. Restaurants of all kinds within a few blocks, so the fact that the one at the hotel wasn't great was a slight inconvenience as you had to go out, but if you decided to eat at the hotel, it wasn't bad, just nothing special. When we stayed there they gave us $4 off on breakfast - don't know if this special is year round. Restaurant was half lounge - large cosy couches you could curl up in and read while you enjoyed a cool drink... Overall, we were happy with our choice.
