When i walked into the front door I thought i got a good hotel. The guy at the desk couldn't be any nicer great service ... there. when we headed for are room the hallways where horrible. The steps goin up felt like you would fall threw. When we got into the room the ceilling was cracked all the way down the middle and they threw plaster up on half of it and it looked horrible. We left the next day to go see some waterfalls when we showed back up around 5pm are room still wasn't clean we had to leave again so they could clean the room.

Very Nice
Mark Jul 6, 2009
Check-in went very well with no mistakes regarding my reservation and the staff was informative and looked for ways to serve ... us. The room was quiet and there were trees which provided seclusion even if the windows were open. The bed was the best hotel bed I have ever slept on, I woke up refreshed. This was the best hotel experience I have had. I would recommend it to anyone and am looking forward to visiting in the future.

Great Place To Stay for Any Occasion
Dom and Nita Jun 12, 2009
We stayed at this hotel for one full week. The entire staff was excellent. They were friendly, professional, helpful and just ... made us feel at "home".The facility is spacious and beautifully decorated, the rooms are comfortable, beds were comfortable with good pillows (pillows usually have something to be desired at most hotels).Services and amenities were everything we needed. From computers with printers, faxing and copying. The free hot breakfasts included with the stay were delicious. The new indoor pool was beautiful and a joy to use almost every day.The location is perfect being walking distance from downtown Colorado Springs and close driving distance to most attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Clarion. Thank you [...], [...], [...], [...], [...] and [...] for making our stay so enjoyable. And our complements to the chefs for great meals and who took the time to come out and meet the guests. We will be back.

Door handle inn room broken and dirty linens left piled in the hall. Confusing layout not great for older people. Friendly ... staff, decent hot breakfast and cocktail reception were great.

While there was a bit of construction going on on the first floor, the room was very nice, and we never heard the ... construction from our room. Location to downtown was perfect. Great deal for the money.

Clarion was very comfortable, the room was comfortable with a desk area and a table and two chairs. Poolside and small patio ... area was convenient. The location was very good -- it was really only one long block to Downtown Disney and there were restaurants very close.

Shop worn facility
Stanley Jul 9, 2007
The Clarion Hotel Colorado Springs is a facility we stayed at 10 yrs ago. The hotel part, lobby etc, was fine. The motel part ... behind it was shop worn. Hall way rugs looked like they needed a cleaning. The interior courtyard by the pool was littered with cigarette butts and the grounds haven't maintained at all. Our room was not serviced after the first night so we returned to a room with an unmade bed and used towels. Fortunately there were plenty of clean towels. When I checked out I brought this to the attention of a very pleasant woman who apologized profusely. When I asked for an adjustment on my bill she said she could only give me a $10 credit. To close on a positive note the morning buffet breakfast was quite good and the staff was very pleasant.

Great Location and Free Drinks
Elizabeth Jun 15, 2007
The downtown Clarion in Colorado Springs was a decent hotel. The staff was friendly and I was given two free drink tickets ... for the happy hour in the hotel bar. The room was clean, but the door was kind of busted and hard to close. Overall it was a good experienece. There is construction around the hotel, so it is kind of hard to get to it, but it is one of the only hotels near downtown Colorado Springs. Thus, the convienence factor outweighed the annoyance.

My review of Clarion Hotel Colorado Springs
Ron May 27, 2007
There was a lot of road construction and detours around the hotel. The neighborhood was not ideal. The lobby and front desk ... staff were nice. We got our room key and drove around to the opposite entrance. When we walked in the entrance we noticed a dirty hallway with a room air conditioner and 2 coffee cups sitting in the hallway. The room itself was decent but the hallways could use some TLC. The buffet dinner ($8.95) was good. The hot breakfast was okay. The French toast was hard and the eggs were watery.Overall, It wasn't bad but I wouldn't pick it in the future. I wanted to be close to Pikes Peak and the Garden of the Gods which were nearby.
