This hotel is not a lot about luxury, it's more about family fun. It's a great place for people who want to travel with their ... kids. On the other hand, if you're looking to spend the days relaxing besides the pool, look elsewhere, because their pool it's really a plain and regular pool.

If you don't want to stand 30 minutes in line for the Breakfast Buffet, go to the Casino cafe, great prices and great food. Order a short stack of pancackes with any item from the menu, and you'll leave as full as if you ate at the buffet. You can also get the endless pancackes breakfast at the cafe.

Circus Circus Review vs local Hawaiian's
NoKidsWoman: W/kids hotel ok Oct 31, 2009
Unprepared for the casino/Vegas world I was overwhelmed. Every casino I visited (many, more upscale than Circus) was ... consistently NOISY, TOO VIDEO GAME FAKE MUSIC, and pretty much smoke-filled. Last trip I took was 25 years ago and was(obviously) way different. Cruising that "dome" that had all the kiddy rides on it; I got totally lost. And realized I was in the wrong hotel. (I also saw two kids, one pretty small, one older brother, and the DAD watching them in the Swinging Pirate Ship and I hear the little kid scream. Bothered me.

service was excellent, arrived early 11am, they checked us in no problem. service was excellent from all staff. we ate in ... the garden grill restaurant, & the mexician restaurant- excellent service, terriffic food, prime rib deal was the best. on the weekends, its really crowded- be prepared for lots of children around. its a big hotel and with all the children& parents, it takes about 10 minutes to get from your room to the front of the hotel. overall it is an excellent hotel, rooms were nice, clean and well laid out. I would stay here again

buy a pass for the deuce bus, 3 days for $15.00- you can buy them from the machine in front of circus circus or other places on the strip also.they run every 8 to 10 minutes, from one end of the strip to another. be prepared to do lots of walking, but the deuce bus will save you lots of steps, really crowded between 5 to 7pm when all the shows & outdoor displays start so leave extra time.

great attractions but por service
Tina Oct 31, 2009
We didn't spend much time in our hotel because the service was bad. They were short staffed and very rude to us. I didn't ... expect anything over the top just a better atmosphere. You could tell the workers didn't want to be there. Also for the amount of money we spent gambling it would have been nice to not have to find a waitress. The other hotels we visited were by far better staffed.
Traveler type: Family
The circus attractions were fun to see.

The "Duce" bus is a waste of time, the bus is always overcrowded besides the wait time to even get on. If you don't think you can walk to where your going get a cab, the $ is worth the convience.

I don't recommend eating here unless you are able to do the all you can eat all day buffet (i.e. all three meals). That seemed like the best value, but it didn't work out for us to do that. There are better (either nicer or cheaper) options on the south side of the strip.
--mars400, Colorado Springs, CO Oct 26, 2009
everything is accessible and I was even able to walk to many things. the bus system there stinks however , as there were never enough buses night or day, but it was ok because I still could get to where I wanted to go. I loved everything and even though I have been to vegas many times in the last 10 years, it was new again.
