This mysterious city was an important ceremonial center. The 75 ft. high Pyramid of Kukulcam casts its impressive shadow over the Ball Court, where the game of life and death was played for hundreds of years. A jade jaguar proudly resides inside the pyramid. The Palace of the Columns, the Caracol Observatory and the Temple of the Warriors are proof of a once flourishing civilization. Next we will take you to the Valladolid, an enchanting colonial town, where you will have some time for sightseeing and shopping. After this visit the Ik Kil park with its magnificent cenote hole. The tour then continues to Hacienda Xaybeh, where a buffet lunch will be offered and dancers will perform typical dances from the region. You're sure to enjoy the beauty of Chichen Itza.

This tour is available daily. It starts at 8:15am and ends at approximately 6:30pm. Pick up times will vary according to hotel location. The tour is not available on December 25 or January 1, and may be cancelled anytime due to extreme weather conditions.
