this was a last minute trip and the location and price were perfect. we traveled with other family members that were given ... the discounted price without having a reservation. that was really thoughtful of them. the rooms were clean and overall was a nice stay..

4th flr was suppose be smoke free, however, I left with a sore throat due to the constant smell of cigarette smoke all during ... the night, when I first came thru the front entrance, 1 of the 2 front desk clerks was smoking a cigarette while standing in the doorway, chit chatting w/a friend and neither one of them greeted me, I didnt even know they worked there until I stopped at the front desk to check in, then they showed up. so called king size bed was hard, flat & sunk in the middle, 3 flat regular size pillows, holes in blanket under bedspread, towels hard & dingy, rusted towel rack, dripping tub faucet, other than that, it was clean, & Ok if you are just passing thru.

I think it was an OK deal for the price, the hotel is neat, the staff is friendly, the rooms are big enough and well ... designed, it could be a little more cleaner though...Location is good, close to food, gas, shopping centers...Overall the stay is satisfying...

We were placed in a SMOKING room, my 2 yr old and I had an allergic reaction and were not given any other room at our request ... we were turned down. The hotel was very dirty. The carpeting was sticky, the beds were clean but the whole room smelled like ciggarettes. I feel that even for the price we paid we could have found better, and saw several closer to our vacation spot with simillar prices that offered a swimming pool, complementary breakfasts and non-smoking rooms. We did cut our trip short. We were visiting Va beach and the surrounding shops and parks. We have had better luck not reserving rooms and finding our own, leaving me to the conclusion "cheap tickets.com" is not really very helpful. I was over all thrilled with the beach and sights, but hated the hotel and am still sick from it.

Them motel was exstremely safe, which is what you worry about considering the price! It was very basic and simple but again i ... expected a truck stop for the price. Easy to find and a cheap alternative to a seaside beachfront motel.

From the outside it looks ok. We really didn't have too much of a problem til about 10pm. Then we were woken up to our ... neighbors having "intimate realtions" so loud and obnoxiously, I'm surprised the staff couldn't hear it from the first floor. The people who run the place are nice though.

Hotel was pretty much as advertised, but the non-smoking room was saturated with cigarette smoke, but they did put in a air ... freshner. Carpet was pretty well worn and not too clean. But overall, not bad for the money paid. Staff people were really nice and friendly. Hotel location is good. Easy to find, especially with a "Garmin."

My husband didn't arrive to Virginia until 9:30p.m. We are from Texas and thought the movie theater would still be open, we finally arrived at eleven ten and it was closed, nothing was open but fast food restaurants. Even a Shell gas station was closed. So there is not much Night life, which i guess makes the location of the hotel relatively safe
