Do not Stay here

One of the worst hotels ive stayed at. The sheets were not clean and there were stains on the bedsheet and hair on the bed. ... The covers were torn and gunky. room had a bad musty smell.

I selected this hotel specifically for it's location, close to the Cape Cod Melody Tent in Hyannis, MA for a concert this ... past weekend and the low cost of the room. Overall our stay was good, we were just expecting a better smelling room and, since the advertisement specifically mentioned the pool, being able to swim in it would have been nice.

Good deal for the price

I knew I wasn't paying for a 5 star hotel and I wasn't expecting much. But have to admit not to bad for the price. The beds ... were made every day and clean towels were given to us. I was tight on money and just wanted to get away for a few days. Not a bad deal if you're going w/o any expectations. Great location! Nice that they had a pool and that it was open. We went to the beaches, we spent most of our time in downtown Hyannis. We visited the Zooquarium, we went on a 3hr cruise, we went on the Duckmobile and on the Horse carriage ride. Once again great location! Previous trips were only for weekends and I did stay at nicer hotels. But for the price this worked out excellent, we pretty much only used the hotel to sleep and take baths. I'm glad I took my chances, cause we had an excellent vacation on a tight budget.

The bed sheet had someone's uses band-aid attached to it. That most likely means that the sheets were not changed after the ... previous visitors. Just disgusting.

You Get What You Pay For

Not great. Sketchy hotel, dirty rooms, like out a of a bad movie. We were there over night to get an early start in the ... morning and wanted an affordable visit. It was empty, dark, gloomy and one man was there sittng outside his room watching us walk into ours. The whole visit was scary and I would not go back there again.

Castle Dawn Motel West Yawmouth was a disaster! It Took forever to check in. They were completely disorganized. My friend who ... is disabled had to wait forever out in the car after our long drive. When we entered the room all we could think about was sleep. However, the bedding was all damp. If I wanted to go camping, I would have brought a tent! There were no amenities!

Castle Dawn is a nice little motel and at a very reasonable price. We were house-hunting in the area and only needed a ... crash-pad so, we were not looking for much in the way of amenities. I liked having a refrigerator in the room so that I could pick up beer at grocery prices, rather than at bar/restaurant prices.
