Excellent place to stay!!!
Mommynunez Oct 13, 2009
Great location for a family. It was a couple blocks off the strip so it wasn't loud. It cost $6 to take a taxi to the strip, ... where you could walk anywhere. It was great that they had cribs available, so we could bring our 1 year old. It was very quiet and it was very convienent that they had a store downstairs, by the lobby, that you could just charge it to your room and pay in the end. I would reccomend this place to family and friends.

I chose this hotel for the low rate offered and its' location. I wasn't able to take advantage of most amenities because of ... my limited time. The internet connection was fast. I didn't make much use of the kitchenette, but it was pretty adequate. I did enjoy the convenient location and the staff was friendly.

There were grocery stores and a Target about one mile away. Looking up directions on Google Maps came in very handy as the grocery stores have different names than the ones in my area.

Wonderful!
EJ Aug 11, 2009
Our airline lost our luggage so we arrived grumpy and frustrated. The staff member who checked us in was friendly and ... sympathetic. He quickly put us at ease and told us where to find anything we needed. Each staff member we encountered was friendly and knowlegable. They were able to answer every question we could come up with. The room was perfect sized for the two of us. We certainly appreciated having both fridge and freezer for our late July trip to Vegas!

Nice Hotel
Happy Vacationer Jul 20, 2009
From the moment that I checked in, the hotel staff was super friendly and very helpful. It was my first trip to Las Vegas ... and the staff offered many useful tips and directions to several attractions. In addition, because the hotel is not located directly on the strip it was very quiet day and night during my stay. Although this is probably one of the first Candlewood Suites built, (dated furniture), the suites and general areas are well maintained.

Fast and easy check-in and check-out. I liked the on-site (self-serve) store where you could purchase breakfast, lunch or ... snacks. (Great Idea). The bed was so comfortable that I was able to sleep through the night on my first night. This is a definite repeatable place to stay!

Moni & Ran May 25, 2009
My hubby and I went to Vegas for four days and four nights. We needed a place that we could relax in after several long days ... on the strip. We also saved money since we ate in and he cooked some night. House keeping service was availbe for longer than a seven nights stay but it was easy to keep our own room clean since it started off very clean! The front desk service was great and the free washer dryer usage came in handy too! Oh yea the location from the strip was ideal for us, not too far (one block over) and not too close!

Best Deal in Vegas
Lolo May 8, 2009
Check-in was easy, room was located close to stairs. I thought we were booked into a Jr. Suite and I'm not sure what that ... meant and we really didn't stay in the room very much so I did not ask. The tub and sink tended to drain very very slowly. I felt like we should have been able to have towels, etc. delivered to our room rather than trying to hunt them down on our own by going to the front desk. Everyone was friendly and the front desk staff was very professional and curteous.

Pick your buffet very carefully. The most expensive is not the best and $38 per person for a seafood buffet is not worth the money. Look for something middle of the range with more options. One had pasta with sauce and grilled chicken as a free choice. Coupons, Coupons, Coupons are everything in Vegas.. Start rounding up as many as you can for what you like before you get here. I didn't see much for coupon offerings at the airport.

My apartment away from home
Erica Aug 5, 2008
Most people go to Vegas and want the super fancy hotel room, and that is understandable. I, on the other hand could not ... afford that. It was located a little off the strip, which was fixed with about a 2 minute bus ride. When it is not 110 outside, I am sure its not a long walk, but I did not want to test it. The room was a good size for 1 person and reminded me of a mini apartment. The room had a large bathroom, of which the sink and tub are not seperate. I perfer this and the counter and mirror were large. The room also came with a fridge, sink, dishes, microwave, stove, and garbage disposal! There is a table and two chairs located in the room, and if I RECALL, they offer free internet for your laptop. This place is good for a lengthy stay in my opinion. The room was clean, but know the cleaning ladies will only come if you stay longer than 7 days. Which was fine by me, I stayed for 5 and could ask for clean towels at any time. And lastly, the staff was very friendly. I would stay at any Candlewood Suites across the country next time I plan to travel.
