Poor Maintenance

The room was bigger than I expected. Plenty of floor space for suitcases, bags, etc. Counter space was large too. In the ... office there's a computer with internet connection that we could use free of charge. These were the happy surprises. Complaints include: 1. There were broken potato chips on the floor next to the bed when we checked in. Four days later when we left, the chips were still there. The maid either never vacuumed or was blind. 2. Bed sheets were not tucked in well. After several turns on the bed, the sheets came loose. It was messy. 3. The furniture was not in good shape, e.g., dresser drawers did not close smoothly. 4. There were only two hangers in the room. The office said they were totally out of them. So tough luck to me. 5. The ONLY ice machine was outside the office building, which was on a different street from my room. The walk to the ice machine was all outdoors, and, the ice bucket did not come with a lid. Not only did the ice have extra flavor - dust - on its trip from the machine to the room, but melted under Page's hot summer sun.

I waited for minutes to check-in because the staff made some mistakes for my billing. The icemachine was brocken so I got to ... drive to another hotel to get ice. the floor of the room looks very dirty. won't stay at this hotel in anywhere again.

This motel should be priced at $30. It is old, dingy, toilet ran intermittently. Totally misleading rating.Could have walked ... in and stayed at beautiful new for less. Lamps falling apart. Beds old and hard.[...] $25 cancel fee totally out of line. If reserve directly with motels have til 4pm same day to cancel. Awful experience. [...] should be ashamed.

Left Monument valley around sunset, arrived here 8-9pm. Took a good rest and visited Antelope canyon next day moring. Good ... restaurant was near by, that saved some time. Generally quiet town, so that you wouldn't be bothered by noise.

The mattresses underneath the beds were all torn up and ragged the material was hanging in rags to the floor. The A/C was ... high up on the wall and was difficult to reach to turn on or off. The rep was forever harrassed not enough staff to meet the needs of the customers. She did the best she could and did so gracefully. she found it more important to talk to supervisor than to in-coming customers apparently she was afraid of the supervisor and that was not fair, is not fair and something that is unacceptable. Customer comes first no matter what the supervisor says. The parking lot needs repaving in the worst way. Mattress were hard, not enough pillows on the beds.

The room is dark, dirty and the air conditioning makes so much noise that it is more convinient to turn it off if you'd like ... to get some sleep. The only thing good about the budget inn was the location. It is very centrally located and close to supermarket and restaurants.
