Not so good
buffaloprincess Sep 27, 2009
We did not set the alarm and it went off at 5 am. No coffee pot or iron in room. The breakfast consisted of orange juice, ... not so good coffee, pre-packaged oatmeal cookies and cinnimon rolls. Now I have had continetal breakfast's, but this one was pothetic.

This was probably one of the worst hotels we've ever stayed at. This place seems to be a trucker's heaven that is used for ... hourly fun. The first night was very loud and annoying, but the second wasn't so bad. We at least got some sleep. May I make a suggestion: Do not take your children here! The outlets in our room were mostly broken and exposed, the lampshade was held together by staples and scotch tape. And worst of all our smoke detector said Warning: Replace detector by the year 2004.... Isn't it 2009? The staff seemed nice though!

If you'd like to eat dinner at a family place, you will need to go before 5pm. It seems that all restaurants except for fast food close at 5pm, even on weekends!

Good for 1 or 2 nights

Check in was quick and easy. The room was clean but showed wear and tear. The beds were comfortable but the comforters were ... faded and one had stains. Temperture control worked well and the microwave and fridge were a bonus. The location was very good for our purposes.

We discovered a great place for breakfast on Liberty Street. The Chat a Whyle has a friendly atmosphere and great sticky buns as well as an extensive menu with something for everyone.

It is what I would expect for the price I paid. Located near highway, but quiet.Located near shopping and dining area.the ... room was clean and had a small refig.and microwave, cable TV.I would not recommend this place for a family. It is too close to the street.Parking area was tight and security was not there.

Good for a one night stay
Susan Jun 30, 2008
Check in was quick and easy. The room was ok, the beds were comfortable and the refridgerator worked. The shower head was ... missing and therefor the spray was not what it should be. The bathroom was not ventilated and had some mildew issues. The room was kept clean and fresh sheets and towels were ready daily without having to ask. Good place to stay for one or two nights.

Great value for a great room
Christopher Jun 29, 2008
The reviews I read before going to this hotel were right on target. The price was great, especially for this area and the ... room was much nicer than hotels nearby. Much nicer. The staff is friendly, the room was clean and well-kept. The refrigerator and Microwave were also nice. Big room. I'd definitely stay there again.

Good value for the money
Gary Jun 17, 2007
Our stay at the Budget Inn in Bath, NY, was a very pleasant, relaxing time. Originally, we had booked for only one night, ... but due to unforeseen circumstances, we needed to extend our stay. The Inn management could not have been more agreeable, extending our reservation without any problems. The room was very comfortable, neat, and with a fridge and a microwave oven. A huge chest was more than adequate for our clothing, and, unlike some other places we have stayed, everything worked properly! We were very pleased with our stay in Bath, and we will undoubtedly book at the same Budget Inn again on our next trip north.

On Liberty Street in Bath, the main street, is the Chat-A-Wyle restaurant. This is a great family-style restaurant, whether for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Huge portions, very reasonable prices, a fairly extensive menu, and a wait staff that couldn't be friendlier.
