Seniors avoid this
Nurse 1 Jun 24, 2009
I was shocked when i found out i was being charged an additional $173 for a cleaning fee and some other unspecified charges. ... I told myself this is vacation and tried to remain calm. I guess you could say that the final straw was when i asked the young dark haired clerk if i could have my luggage transported to the room which was in another building and her reply was a curt we dont supply conciere services here. I am 60 and have a knee that I have been undergoing tx including surgery since January. I had no choice but to drag my suitcase from the check in building down to my building . I ended up with a hole in my bag and a grim outlook because of the lack of service. I advise any senior and anyone that is handicapped to avoid this place. I had taken a plane to get there and had no automobile so there i was dragging my suitcase down the sidewalk. Talk abiout bad pr this place just does not care about anyone just the money.

Resort fees and other fees not mentioned
Ga boy. May 18, 2009
When we checked in to the condo we were told that we would have to pay resort fees, cleaning fees etc etc which costs an ... additional $94.00. Other than that the room was nice, views were great and the pool was ok. My wife said the towels were terrible and very cheap! We were not very impressed with Panama City but the beach was nice with great sand. Pineapple Willies and Hammerheads were two good restaurants.

My review of Boardwalk Central Condominiums
Lora Jul 26, 2008
Boardwalk Condos was very comfortable, bigger than what I expected. The full Kitchen and Master bath was great but the best ... part was the ocean view from the bedroom and the balcony thru the living room. For the drawbacks that was very frustrating was we were only there for two nights and the one, not very big pool was closed. Not sure why. Obviously, we took advantage of the ocean but I'm not an ocean person. I'll walk along the beach but to cool off and take a dip, I would usually go swim in the pool. On top of that, we arrived early and was wanting to check in to the room. The staff was nice giving us our pool and car passes but just said they would call us when the room is ready for us to check into. They never called. We waited 2 1/2 hours and called them. They said it would be another 30 mins. Which by that time it was check-in time. We were hoping at least we could request a later check out time on the day we left. The staff said to call the morning of your departure to request it. So I called at 5:30am. They said the computer was down and to call back in a hour. I called back and they said they couldn't accommodate us. Check-out is at 10am and check-in is at 4pm. I don't understand why they couldn't help us out. So with the pool being closed and the issue with our check-in and out problems I won't recommend this place to others unless they don't care about the service. Because the actual room itself is very nice. It's just disappointing the service didn't match it.

Very Nice
Carla Nov 30, 2007
This was a very nice and quite place to visit. the only problem was it was off season, lots o f repairs were being done. Our ... room was on the top and only one working elevator that was really really slow we decided to walk down the stair rather then wait. At the end of our trip the elevators were working fine.
