For the money, this is a good value. Was in town for a meeting in downtown Charlotte and didn't want to pay $200+ just to ... sleep and shower so I ended up about 4 miles away here. Rooms are small but relatively clean. The breakfast had some variety and provided USA Today without adding it to the bill (I hate that trick that most "first class" hotels do). This won't impress you, but if you are just looking for the basics (a quiet place to sleep, shower and eat), this one is a good deal. Free in room wireless internet is a great perk too.

The room looked finedbut needs some updates like bigger pillows, a more comfortable matress. Fix broken bath tiles in the ... shower. Have an AC unit to be able to cool the room not take most of the night to cool. It smelled like smoke in the hallway and it was supposed to be a SMOKE FREE HOTE. I was not happy about that. The staff was just ok. I feel the price I paid for this hotel was NOT worth it. I will not stay at any Best Westerns hotels.

Although I checked in late and left early, I felt the Best Western Sterling was a good value for the money. The staff was ... accommodating, the room was clean with large TV, ample hot water and climate control, and there was a 24-hour airport shuttle.

Do not stay here. The staff was wonderful. The hotel was awful. There was mold in the bathroom shower. The sheets were ... questionalble, I found a dead roach or some such bug dead on the floor. It is right on an busy road heard all the road traffic. As a single woman I did not feel safe to go out to dinner any where, and there was not much to choose from. All in all a very dissappointing night.

Good stopover for Flights

The Best Western Sterling was quiet even though it was very nest the front dest. The lady on duty - I arrived late on both ... visits - was very cordial. The room was large as was the bethroom. The room accomidations and decorations were very nice. The only thing that bothered me somewhat was that I did not feel like my sheets were clean. The pillows felt and smelled clean, but the sheets were very wrinkled as if they had already been slept on. It was convenient to the airport and there were many restaurants of various types nearby. I I have to stay again in Charlotte for flights, I would probably stay nearer the airport in the Best Western there. Overall I would rate this as a good place to stay. I felt safe and was very comfortable.

The hotel is showing its age with wear and tear. The rooms were adequately clean but not completely clean. The edge around ... the bathroom floor was dirty, the wallpaper was showing scuff marks, etc. There were coffee makers in the room but no coffee caraf. There was a microwave and small refrigerator that was nice. Other than the breakfast room, I didn't see any other place to dine at the hotel. I walked down the street to get a meal. On the very positive side, there were two women at the front desk there were very helpful and friendly. I had an early flight and my room was readied early so I could leave my bag.
