Didn't sleep alone

I chose this hotel because it was the "nicest" one that allowed smoking. I was there for the NASCAR race and my brother ... decided at the last minute to come along. He stayed at the Motel 6 directly across the highway. Our room layout was exactly the same. The only difference I saw was that I had a coffee pot and a larger TV but that was about it. Everything was fine with the room although kind of small. No refrigerator or microwave. I spent three nights, on the last night was when I found the bed bugs. As it was 10:30pm and I had a 6:00am flight, I couldn't take the time to switch rooms, although I suspect that wouldn't have changed anything. Having been in the military, this didn't cross my eyes or send me screaming into the night. I let the staff know in the morning while checking out. The staff was concerned and apologetic. As I had prepaid she could not give a discount. She asked for my email to give to the Manager, which I did. It is now 5 days later and have not heard anything from the Manager or the chain. All in all, nothing special. However, I think next time, I'll go to a better chain and get a patio or balcony for smoking.

Stayed in Phoenix for the Cardinals football game. Very pleasantly surprised at the accommodations. Very clean room. ... Pillow-top bed was extremely comfortable. Huge bathroom. Great breakfast...eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal. Lots of restaurants in the area. MetroCenter Mall was up the street. Friendly staff. Located next to I-17 off Northern Ave

The Best Western was conveniently located right off the highway and very easy to find. The room was very clean and for the ... price it was exactly what I expected. The check in staff was very courteous; unfortunately we not able to try the breakfast. The only draw back was having a room facing the freeway which was kind of loud. The beds were kind of uncomfortable. It is not the newest area of town but it was decent with the mall very close & lots of restaurants to chose from.

Great room for the price

This hotel must have been remodeled in the last few years, as we were surprised how nice the room was. Carpet and furniture ... appeared to be updated and very clean. Large marble bathroom sink/counter, updated bathtub/shower. Large armoire, dresser and desk & padded chair w/footstool. Very comfortable bed, linens were better than anticipated and towels were very nice. Easy to get to from I-17 and great location. Only drawbacks were the noise from the freeway (we ended up with a room facing I-17) and it's a bit of a hike thru doors and around an outdoor walkway to the rooms. Large pool and free breakfast buffet...didn't get a chance to use either, but both looked clean and popular with the other guests. Would definitely stay there again.
