Wife and I took this last minute trip to celebrate our anniversary....the room was nice, very clean and the staff was very ... friendly and helpful. The only gripe I had was that we were placed on the 2nd floor of the south tower, and the pool palm trees partially blocked our ocean view. The pool area, lazy river and hot tub were great, and the beach access was excellent. Would like to send a special "thank you" to [...] and the staff of the Tiki Bar for making our time there so special!!!

On the beach, but the ammenities are not at other chain hotels levels. We stayed in hotels for the same price, that had a ... large LCD tv, a much better breakfast. But, I think that we can forgive all of these if we consider the great ocean view and beach walking we had.

Myrtle Beach Quick Trip

We went there for just a quick getaway. It wasn't a bad place, (I've been there!) it just didn't live up to our expectations ... - since we have stayed at much nicer places at Myrtle Beach. I guess, the first disappointment was when the person checking us in said, "Well, you'll be staying in our annex building down the street." I could smell trouble right away(not the room, thank goodness.) All of the ammenities, the few that there were, were in the ten-story tower not in the three-story annex. There was parking for six... count them, six cars, of which we were the seventh (more probably, the twelfth). The building is located on the beach as advertised, however, access to the beach is by way of a path through the folliage - not by way of a bridge as at most of the other places nearby. All told, though, it was restfull. The area was quiet and therefore it did fit the bill as a quiet getaway. Although, if asked if I'll stay here again next time we travel to the beach, I think I'll just get away...

The location was perfect being right on the beach. The room was very nice, pretty and clean. Unfortunately, we were in the ... annex which meant having to walk in the street to get to the pool or main hotel for breakfast. I was disappointed with the lazy river...it was so small my daughter wouldn't even use it. The pools were small and there wasn't much shade. The breakfast was decent. Better than nothing.

We did have a good time although the bath room had water in the floor the first night and the next day. The manger did come ... and check it out that night and was very nice and friendly. The plumber came the next day to fix the toliet, but still leaked a bit. The manger called the next day to see if we still had a problem. and said that we would be refunded a nights stay from you who we booked the room through. We would like to return for another trip but will request a larger room.

We paid some $ 155+ for ocean front view room. The ocean view from the room was excellent.Just amazing! Loved to hang out in ... the balcony and see the moon set and sun rise. Sound of ocean waves was so soothing. The only thing we didn't like about the room was that the bed and the linen was too ordinary, definitely not worth 155+ room rate.The linen didn't smell very fresh! The best thing about the room was the ocean view. But we did expect a better bed and linen. The sofa in the room was cheap.

This was a very nice facility. We only had a one night stay but everyone was very accomadating. The only complaint I have is ... the parking. We was told there was a overflow lot but it took us 30 minutes to find it because it is not advertised as a BestWestern overflow lot and it is kinda misleading because it looks like the parking facility of the house it is beside.

It was just one night, It was hard to determine where exactly in Myrtle Beach the location was and therefore I was not ... exactly where I wanted to be. But the staff were very nice and accomodating and it made a mistake in location turn out good for my son and I.

We had 3 adults and 2 children in a room with a king bed and a sleeper sofa. This made the room seem too small. If it was ... just me and my wife it would have been much better. We plan on going back to Myrtle Beach in a few months and will probablly try a different hotel.

The hotel is split in two locations; we were at the annex which was half a block down from the main office/hotel. Sidewalk ... only on opposite side of street. Myrtle Beach traffic can be busy. No where in the hotel write up did it explain our room could be down the street in the annex.
