Jason Wright Nov 4, 2009
This hotel was a great deal! It is priced affordably as a two-star, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the ... location is great - just minutes from downtown, Siesta Key, and Lido Key. The rooms are clean and the shower is hot. The internet service is wifi, slightly slow, but useful enough for checking the internet and such. A bonus: there is a 24hour Starbucks a short walk away!

Best Western Sarasota

Vintage feel in a great location. We were a quick drive to historic downtown with a Starbucks across the street. We were ... right in the middle of everything but our room and the pool were quiet. We will definitely return next year.

great location - great value

The Best Western Midtown has been completely renovated and is very comfortable. One of the best things about it is its ... location. It is easy to get downtown and to beaches. Also, there is a supermarket and StarBucks right next store, so you can walk to them. There are also good dining options nearby. I have stayed at this hotel 8 times and have always had a pleasant experience. Now there is free internet access in the lobby. The free breakfast has been improved, too with better coffee. There is also a pool. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Sarasota.

This hotel/motel is a modest establishment with a continental breakfast provided. I was perfectly satisfied with what I got ... for what I paid. Value for money. Staff was helpful and friendly. To illustrate: I was unable to carry a corkscrew on the flight - and I like to have a glass of wine /and or a bottle of Guinness of an evening. There was no way to open my Guinness provided in the room - when I asked the desk they were without a church key but the maintenance chap loaned a screwdriver to me. The next morning the owner brought a corkscrew to my room - saying they had tried to keep one available but they disappear. I regard that as quite helpful and friendly on their part - given the type of hostel it ranks very well. P.S. I actually returned the corkscrew at checkput time.

We stayed at the best western in sarasota and we were very pleased. The staff was very friendly and so was the area.I was ... even more pleased that we had are own microwave and fridge. We stayed for 4days and we cant wait to go back hopefully next year. The only thing I wished they had was a shuttle service(for the airport), other than that I give them a A-.

The Best Western was close to everything, food, shopping, and attractions. We did'nt have to drive more that 10 miles to get ... to anything. The room was spacious with two queen beds and a large bathroom. I would stay again if I was in that area.
