They even had access to a computer for departures on your airline with a printer to print your boarding pass early before getting to the airport. The crab cakes at the restaurant were delicious!

This was the first time I went to Las Vegas and my husband and I paid for our parents rooms on this trip. The room was very ... good for the price. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the room and the motel was not far from the strip.

Far Better Than Motels
The Cleaner Jul 10, 2009
Again, very good place to stay for non-tourists. Having to make multiple trips to Las Vegas for family business, this has ... become my go-to place to stay. It's quiet, affordable and not choked with tourists and party-goers. Far more preferable than staying at a motel.

Great Value for Non-Tourists
The Cleaner Jun 26, 2009
We have a relative in Vegas who suffered a massive stroke. It was necessary for us to travel there almost weekly for several ... weeks to handle her affairs and assist in her recovery. We wish we discovered this hotel sooner. For the price, this hotel is leagues above similarly-priced places. The rooms are clean and quiet and the staff are extremely helpful. The kitchenette proved to be very useful. My only quibble would be that the second time I stayed there, the WiFi reception was a little rough. While it states in their guest brochure that there is a LAN cable option, that is not the case. To their credit, they tried their best to figure out why the WiFi wasn't working for me. This is a great place to stay for those on a budget who don't mind having a little distance from the strip.

The room was great - big and clean with all the amenities. The service was excellent and they upgraded our room as they ... didn't have what we asked for. The lobby has a restaurant/ bar and slot machines which were a bit crowded and noisy but the room was good.

Stay at Las Vegas Mardi Gras
Theresa Feb 29, 2008
The Best Western Mardi Gras Las Vegas was not very pleasent at all. The rooms are located outside and you can hear every ... person that passes the door. I woke up many times during the night by talking and peoples foot steps. The resturant at least four seperate days informed me that they only had one person working and did not offer room service. The staff was not polite and if you asked a question it seemed to be more of a bother. The worst thing was that on the last day of my stay thankfully I took my jewlery with me. I am a very particular person and I always put my things just so. That evening when I came back to my hotel room and opened my jewlery box the tray was in the box backwards and another of my small toiletry bag had been rifled through. I stayed at this hotel with the belief that because if it was away from the casinos it would be quite and have better service. I could have stayed at a less expensive hotel/casino. I would not recomend staying at this hotel to anyone.

great for the price
Denise Nov 12, 2007
The Mardi Gras hotel was very comfortable and the rooms were larger than I expected. The living room was separate from the ... bedroom which made it very comfortable to sit and relax without feeling like you were in someones bedroom. It was very quiet and easily excessable to the strip with the shuttle provided by the hotel. Everyone was friendly and the slots were enough to keep one going all night without ever leaving the hotel. The restaurant was small but the food was good and it was open late. I would recommend it to a friend and would definitely stay there again.

My review of Best Western Mardi Gras Inn
Allen Jul 8, 2007
This was my first time at a Best Western. The BW Mardi Gras seemed like it should have been a great place to stay, however, ... the room was really dirty - hair on the sink and bathroom floor, dirt on the floor and dust on the furniture. The desk staff was surly and not helpful with one exception who was just great. The layout of the room - two queen beds separated by a room divider was lovely, refrigerator and bar sink in a small kitchenette. The restaurant was good enough but a trip in to just get a beer at the bar was a very long wait and the bartender ignored me while waiting on literally everyone else (including a bar helper - not sure if he was an employee). Amenities were OK. Pool, slot machines, very helpful shuttle bus driver. It was a smoking room but only one ash tray. Very near the unirail which should be advertised by this hotel.

Convention friendly
Laurie Jun 13, 2007
Very close to Convention Center and Monorail so we didn't have to rent a car. The pool was nice. The staff were great about ... helping us to get places and to work with us when the power went out for 12 hours. The rooms were clean and maintained. The curtains in the room could be closed as to block out any light and it enabled us to get rest while it was bright and 101 degrees outside. A lovely place to stay just of the beaten path but close enough to venture out easily.

I didn't stay in this hotel that night because of no power. But the people who worked on the front desk were very friendly. ... Cold drinking water were provided at about three hours waiting for checking in, and then we were told to cancel the reservation.
