Best price for the location
Traveling Man Oct 19, 2009
The hotel had a great location, but the room was small and the decor was outdated. Though I truly just used the room to ... sleep in, I still appreciate a hotel that is current. The walls allowed a lot of noise in, but that seems to be the case with most hotels. The price was unbeatable for the location.

nice hotel, but..........
Sleepless in Milwaukee Oct 4, 2009
Everything about the hotel was fine, especially the room with free wi fi until 3 AM when several rooms on my floor, a wedding ... I believe, decided to have an all night party in each others' rooms and in the hallway. At 3:30 AM I called the desk and someone came up, but the noise continued within the rooms. The staff were accommodating, however, allowing me to stay late the next day to get some sleep before an afternoon meeting.

Great Location, Parking Pains
Snakebacon Sep 22, 2009
The hotel it's self was good. The building is an old 1920's construction that has been transformed into a worthy hotel in a ... prime location. Because of it's location parking was a problem. Although there was a public ramp and a pay lot about a block away I was disappointed that the hotel did not provide a pass or validate parking. In the end I paid $10 in parking fees for each night I stayed.

Needs Updating
Disappointed Sep 14, 2009
The hotel was in serious need of updating. We weren't certain whether the elevators would actually get us between floors; ... they were so rickety. The beds sagged, the halls and rooms had a bad odor (damp?), and the continental breakfast was below standard. To top it off the rooms were noisy; you could hear everything from the hallway to the outdoors. The upside? The price was right, it was a place to sleep for a short night, and the location was great...right across from the Shops on Grand Avenue and within walking distance to the Lake Front.

Comfortable stay
Kathy Aug 31, 2009
My husband and I attended the Copeland Family Ministry Conference at the Arena (I can't remember the proper name) anyway it ... was from Thurs. thru Sat. We made the arrangements by phone site unseen. We have stayed in your hotel in the past and trusted your reputation. Therefore, we felt comfortable about making the reservations by phone. We are not that familiar with Milwaukee downtown area or it's neighborhoods. Everything worked out well. We missed the continental breakfast because we chose to sleep in Friday morning, but the room was surprisingly updated and clean. Also very quiet. Our room was across from the stairway door and elevators, but we didn't hear any noise. The beds were comfortable. All in all it was a very good stay. I almost forgot. We parked across the street for $12 for 24 hrs. Since we were able to walk to our destination that worked out great for us. If we attend the conference again next year we will give you a call. Thank you Best Western!

Sandra Jul 30, 2008
The Best Western Inn in downtown Milwaukee was very clean and easy walking distance to the Riverwalk. Plus there was a mall ... across the street, and several small shops for browsing. The breakfast we ate in the cafe was fantastic, and service was excellant. Very surprised on how spacious the room was. We definately plan on coming back here next time we come to the Cubs game. Oh, and the bed was one of the best to sleep in, I felt like I was at home here.
